Since her recent heel turn and the new darker image, IO has been the best thing about the womens division of NXT.

Shes awesome in the ring.

I love how shes bringing back some of the old school heel tactics too such as lifting her opponents shoulders off the mat at a 2 count, and inflicting more damage before finally putting them away.

From the way the commentators are putting her over, it would seem she is destined for another NXT womens title shot sometime in the not too distant future.

Best female talent in the company.

I want to see Rhea Ripley take the title from Shayna Baszler then go on to feud with Io Shirai for the belt.

In the ring there is nobody better than Shirai, she has a unique style and her new heel character has added a new dimension to her which is working wonderfully.

i think i agree with this, id definitely say Shirai and Banks are the top two females in all of WWE.

Imagine the feud they could have on the main roster - would be awesome.

The trouble is i prefer them both as heel so im not sure how theyd work it on the main roster but maybe when NXT goes to Fox and AEW starts up - maybe WWE will kind of move away from the face heel divide more so than they have at the minute and we could get a heel v heel feud?

Its unlikely and i think Sasha would be the face but it would be a great match non the less

I need to watch her heel turn and run since then. Personally I'd like to see Asuka go back to NXT when they go to USA network, and then have a Shirai vs Asuka feud.

That would be a incredible feud and as they are doing very little with Asuka on the main roster right now they should definitely do it. In fact it may do Asuka good to have a little break from Raw and Smackdown so she re-establish herself as a player down in NXT. She's not damaged beyond repair on the main roster but definitely needs some rebuilding.

There was a clip on this weeks NXT showing that Io had attached Candice in the parking lot with a kendo stick.

Regal later announced in the show that in 2 weeks there will be a triple threat no.1 contenders match to determine Shayna Baszlers next opponent - the contestants would be Mia Yim, Bianca Belair and Io Shirai.

As much as i want Io to take the title, i dont think she will win that match as i expect a Candice interference to cost her the opportunity, furthering that feud whilst maybe giving Shayner another W in her title defences.

I did think, based off last week, Ripley would have been in the match but it wasnt to be.

Io again demonstrated that she is easily the best worker in the NXT Womens division.

It will be interesting to see what part she has to play in the La Rae v Baszler title match given her feud with Candice doesnt appear to have finished.

Best female worker in WWE, Io Shirai is currently my favourite Woman in the whole company.

I expect Baszler to defeat Candice Le Rae next week possibly with some outside interference from Shirai which leads to another match between the two of them which hopefully Shirai wins.

Just been catching up on NXT

Shirai v Le Rae was an awesome match.

Io is easily the best female wrestler on mainstream TV in any promotion for me

Absolutely sensational

Heart absolutely everything about her

So first off, gotta say grats to Io.

Now would be the perfect time to start building Io vs Asuka. Keep the rivalry friendly and on Twitter or some such thing, very lighthearted, but turn it more competitive with their first match against each other not until after SummerSlam. At survivor series they can have the triple threat champions match and turn the feud ugly. At which point they can cost each other their respective titles for all I care, just build to a hardcore type match (no holds barred, falls count anywhere, last woman standing, whatever) as the blowoff at Wrestlemania.

This is the feud fans deserve.

And hey, if they want to make Kairi smackdown women's champion by survivor series that'd be good too!
