It's nice to see JR praiseing Joey Style's work on WWE.com
Fletch: Why didnt Vince just get a load of monitors to act as lumberjacks? Then Bret wouldnt have stood a chance. That monitor will be inducted in to the HOF at Wrestlemania 30.

Quote WWE ring announcer Howard Finkel has one specific goal in mind this year and that is to announce a live WWE event in 2010 as it would make him a "five decade man." He wrote the following in his latest blog: "You know, I do have one specific goal in mind to attain this year: If get the opportunity to go into the ring to announce a live WWE event in 2010, that will make me a "five decade man"! I started my ring announcing gigs in 1976; you do the math :) I hope that it happens, because all right, it sounds cool for sure to have that title affixed to you. But more importantly, I still have the passion pride, and desire to go out there and entertain all of you when the opportunity presents itself."

* I'm sure he will get his wish and i'm surprised he doesn't do more live events anyway.

* I'd also like for him to introduce a couple of matches at Wrestlemania which should be a tradition every year.

* Depends I guess if management think he's "hip" enough to still be seen on camera in a prominent role.

He should at least do the introductions to the Royal Rumble Match every year, as that is what I mostly remember him for. I loved his satisfied smile when he announced the match.

I agree Nyte he should do the introduction to the Rumble match and possibly all the World/WWE title matches on PPV aswell, give the man something more to do.

RIP to the greatest wrestling announcer of all time and he's so far ahead of those since.

He was the wrestling announcer many of us grew up listening to and his voice played a huge part to many early wrestling pay per views.

One of my favourite Fink moments was him being the personal ring announcer for CM Punk LOL

I fully agree. He is the greatest ring announcer of all time. And they do matter as ring announcers contribute heavily to the atmosphere of the show and help build up excitement for the oncoming match. Fink was the best at that... ever.

"THIS CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!"

"IT IS NOW TIME..... FOR THE ROYAL.... RUMBLE!!"

He could even make a draw exciting.

"THE REFEREE HAS RULED THIS BOUT...... A DRAW!!"

I think you need the rules of the Royal Rumble explained by the man himself......

The clip is made all the more better for having The Brain talking over it LOL

Like people can debate best ever wrestler, best ever commentator, best ever manager, best ever match etc but best ever announcer cannot be.
