From Jim Ross Website..........

Quote Where’s The Fink? He is alive and well working out of the WWE offices, where he is still the very first employee ever hired by the company and the only individual to perform at EVERY Wrestlemania. Howard Finkel is a WWE HOFer in my book!

Fink is a legend and deserves his own thread. Just think (no pun intended) of all he's done over the years. Why is he not already in the hall of fame for? In a business where guys get released all the time, how good is it to see the original employee still there? Damn the guy came up with the name Wrestlemania and that's the biggest event in the industry. Wrestlemania isn't quite the same without Fink announcing. His heel run against Lilian was pointless though.

J.R has bells palsy, not cerebral palsy. As far as the 'Fink' is concerned, I've never heard or read anything about it.

Jim Ross Website: Hey JR! As a young Chef on Long Island, I can tell you that Long Island is lacking a BBQ eatery. I hope if you do Franchise, you might setup in that area. Second, what happened to Howard Finkel? I know he works behind the scenes, but doing what exactly i’m not sure. It would be nice to hear him announce PPV’s once in a while or at least WrestleMania. He was the Voice of WWE for years, and could do a much better job than Buffer did at the Royal Rumble.

I talked to Fink a few hours ago and he is doing great working in the talent department for the WWE and doing all the grunt work that many others don’t want to do. Fink is a future HOF’er in my book, hopefully at the 25th Wrestlemania. Michael Fluffer, er, Buffer can’t hold a candle to Howard Finkle.

well i bet he will be inducted in the next year or two, to tell the truth i thought he had already been inducted. hell, with an active wrestler in ric flair and the rocks grand father and father going in, it leaves room for an annoucer or something, he might even go in this year.

Qouth the draven, nevermore.

From Jim Ross Website..............

Quote Hi JR

I was just after your thoughts on Howard Finkle. Its a shame we do not get to see him announce on a regular basis. what is his status with the company now and is there a chance we’ll be seeing him in the Hall of Fame at some point? Thank you for your thoughts

Fink is a classic and gets my vote, if I had one, for the Hall of Fame in 2009. No one in the WWE is a more dedicated employee than Howard Finkle.

I don't want to see him on a regular basis, like the fan does. But that's because wrestling has to move on and he's part of the past now (if you like it or not). However the odd apperance makes sense, if not overused. He will probably show up at Wrestlemania in one way or another. Maybe to ring announce one of the matches or more likely to be involved in comedy skits. Finkle started Wrestlemania and so call me sentimental, but I want to see him part of it for as long as he's fit to do so.

Jim Ross Website: Moving on….Howard Finkel, after seemingly a million years is no longer a part of the WWE Talent Relations department and is now focusing his efforts on the revamped WWE.com which is infinitely better since Joey Styles arrived on the scene. Fink also did some ring announcing this weekend, which is his true passion and he’s still the best in the WWE at it. As mentioned in this space before, I hope Fink gets strong consideration for the WWE Hall of Fame next year in Houston.
well i think he will go in as the non wrestling performer, howard finkel was/is one of the best, if not the best ring annoucers of all time and he also has so much other behind the scene stuff under his belt, it would be a shame if he continues to be overlooked for the hall of fame.

* Howard helping out Joey Styles is a good idea. There's not many who know the ins and outs of WWE as well as Howard does.

* It's good that he still gets to do the occasional ring announcing, as that is what he's best at.

* Next year would be the perfect time for Howard to be inducted into the hall of fame. He deserves it.

* Anyone remember when they turned him heel by feeding Lilian to Three Minute Warning? Howard The Coward indeed.

Never gonna forget The Finks legendary Royal Rumble announces... no one explains the Rumble quite like he does.

Still rooting for him for HOF 09.

Him joining styles on WWE.com is a good idea, that man knows the company better than anyone, except vinnie mac maybe

He also keeps himself busy by appearing on the live blogs on WWE universe, he´s a mainstay there at the ppv blogs and appears every now and then at the raw blog too...
