* He's gone from winning on pay per view as the A show main champion, to jobbing in a tag match on the C brand, all within a couple of months.

* He seems directionless at the moment and is used more in a filler type of role.

* He needs a meaningful fued, but everyone is tied up with other people at the moment.

* He would have been better off going to Smackdown before Raw if this is what was planned for him.

What I find funny is that he is on the poster for Cyber Sunday but might not actually appear. If the fans vote for Morrison/Miz vs Cryme Time poster boy wont even be on the PPV

It seems like until Orton comes back there is nothing for him to do!

I'm a massive Punk mark, but think Punk's current place kind of makes sense.

His minor fueding with Priceless is setting up his major fued with Orton and his inevitable next-gen gang, which I see being pretty high profile until at least the Rumble. I honestly see him being a credable choice to win Money In The Bank next year (unless they give it to Jeff Hardy, or Evan Bourne gets REALLY over)
Fletch: Why didnt Vince just get a load of monitors to act as lumberjacks? Then Bret wouldnt have stood a chance. That monitor will be inducted in to the HOF at Wrestlemania 30.

The poster is his Birthday's Gift Smile

I think Punk's match is the best choice compared to the other two. Dirt Sheet vs Cryme Tyme already happened on RAW, and Regal vs Noble could be better if the girls were just the managers (Mickie is my favorite diva, but Layla can't wrestle).

I dont like how they just tossed him aside after one rematch for the world title. Sticking him with Kofi makes no sense either, why did he even get involved for? I think Raw has too many big name main event players for Punk to stay around the belt scene and he would of fit in better on Smackdown.

I thought Smackdown was going to be used to push young talent but with triple h on the scene it just squashes it. Punk is easily a main event wretler. JBL shouldn't even be in the mix, he was better as an acolyte sitting around back stage covering his tits up with a shirt. If they brought some credibility back to being IC champion there could be some awesone matches as a result and Punk could be used there if they sincerely do not want to push him to the top just yet.

From Jim Ross Website...........

Quote Has CM Punk lost his momentum with the fans? I want to ask you, because I heard people online saying he should give up the title. I want them to be wrong, but I do not know anymore.

Punk needs a chance to get himself established with the fans. It takes time to develop a reputation and a following. I say give C.M. Punk a chance as I think he will become popular and marketable but only if he is given the opportunity to dance with the big boys over an extended length of time. Punk already has a vocal legion of followers which is a good start.

* Any momentum he might have lost during his title run was the fault of how creative booked him and not the man himself.

* Fans for the most part want to associate with a winner who looks good and in the few wins Punk got, he generally didn't look good.

* The keyword JR mentions is "opportunity". Yes he was given the opportunity to carry the number one brand, but he looked way stronger as a challenger than he ever did with the belt, which is not how it's suppose to be.

I think they already started to make mistakes in his Mr. MITB phase... I mean, he was the biggest threat to any title on the WWE Surface and didn´t really show that! I would have had him at ringside at almost any chance a champion competed, scouting, waiting for his chance and all that... I mean the way he won the title was cool, yeah, and important because it brought back a world title to raw, after the draft... but still, it could´ve been done better.
