* I wonder whether he thinks that due to LAX pretty much splitting up, he's going to be the one with the short end of the stick. He's probably right as well.

* He's had a very good run in TNA as part of the tag team division, but I highly doubt TNA will push him as one of the top X division guys. He'll never be a main eventer...and he's been removed from the division. He's in a catch 22.

* On his own he's alright, but he's not somebody I can see as "his own man". He fits the lackey/partner perspective so well due to his size and character.

I think he would benefit from working alongside Taz, to be honest. I love watching his matches but his mic skills aren't that strong. I can understand him being upset about a team he enjoyed being part of being split up - they worked well together, they were friends... there doesn't seem to be a clear reason to split them at all. Hernandez could still go for the Heavyweight Title with Homicide at his side and Homicide could do well having Hernandez as support at ringside. One without the other just doesn't seem right, to me.

* He's probably had contact made to him from Jonny Ace to jump ship.

* Otherwise it's pretty surprising he would want to leave when he's finally getting a singles run.

* Maybe he feels stale after being in TNA for a few years now.

How can they deny someone a release? Rather, why would they? If he doesn't want to be there anymore, why would they want to keep him?

While it might be unlikely...maybe they have plans for him later on? I don't agree with people being kept there against their will, but I hope they promised him something to make him reconsider requesting his release...

Do you really think WWE would want him?

He dosnt fit the profile - he dosnt have the WWE look, lacks mic skills and works a style that WWE hate.
He should stick it out in TNA, he hasnt been that badly used in singles so far and he must have always known that Hernandez was going to go further than him.

I've always liked him, reminds me of New Jack except Homicide can actually wrestle.

I would hope so. Even if it's a top spot in the X-Division. Ideally to keep him, they wouldn't break up LAX, but the former may suffice.

I hope he stays so I can continue to watch him. He could go back to ROH, which would also be awesome, but he could really use this for leverage I think.

let him go if he thinks he will get over better in the wwe ,lol
why care about this guy anyways
he doesnt contribute to the product on television
he calls white woman "snow flake" which is a racist remark
and the only reason he got the xdivision title this last time was cause he was a big baby about it.
he's just another one of these guys tna has whos only been wrestling for 6 - 7 years or so and they think that is enough tme to have everything handed to them.
he should consider himslef luck for even having a spot on the roster, people would kill for his spot, but yet it isnt good enough for him.
they need to cut this guy since he thinks he will have it better in other places

Reasons for Homicide being released.
He feels Homicide has been to watered down by TNA and wants to salvage the character.

Homicide feels that his time in TNA has run it's coarse and it's time to move on.

Homicide feels he is more than a number 2 and wants a push, but TNA doesn't feel the same.

Homicide has got an offer from Satan and Homicide has sold his soul. (SATAN being VINNIE MAC)

Nothing is fact, just my opinion for why he might have done this. I myself am a Homicide fan and watched his REAL Homicide gimmick on the indies. Much more graphic and hardcore, much more entertaining. I do doubt that he goes to WWE. 1, he is small. 2, he is VERY violent, 3, he is uber stiff. and 4, he doesn't have the charisma to be in a entertainment oriented company like WWE.

Quote Sources: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter & TNAWrestlingNews.com

» Homicide is telling friends that he asked for his release from TNA over a month ago, but his request was denied. Apparently he’s been frustrated by the company wanting to split up him and Hernandez. People close to the situation feel that he was given the X Division title in an attempt to make him want to stay around.

* I think his release is going to be not long off happening now he's clearly really unhappy working for TNA.

* If it was going to work he might have held the X Division title longer. What's wrong with a singles push?

* I don't see why people are so against him working for WWE. He's got a good look, unique style and can wrestle and talk.
