Quote Former WWE writer John Piermarini noted on his blog that despite reports of various WrestleMania 27 matches for Triple H and The Undertaker in the past few months, a singles match between the two had been planned since August of last year.

So by the time they meet all involved would have had eight months to work on something good.

That really pleases me because much thought has gone into it, and it's probably laid out already just with little bits of tinkering done.

I'm sure HHH will have a solo segment in the ring tonight to mention last week a little more.

Come on, I doubt that. We have read for MONTHS and MONTHS that plans called for Taker vs Barrett and HHH vs Sheamus at WM 27. The wrestling Observer was the one who claimed these matches to be on the card (I know its quoting an ex-wwe writer but still) and now were supposed to believe this story too

So if this was the plan 8 months ago, then why does this hhh vs taker feud seem like such a last minute decision and the reason for said feud is so forced. Its because wwe made the decision for this feud within the last month not 8 months ago

WWE's website is now listing Triple H vs. The Undertaker as a match for WrestleMania 27. While the match preview does talk about Taker's streak, nowhere is it mentioned about Triple H retiring. Of course stipulations are expected to be added between now and WrestleMania.

I really hope this isn't a sign that this is a streak vs career match like last year. It just means that wwe creative are up to this. The only reason they're feuding with eachother is because wwe doesn't have a top drawing match.
YES! YES! YES!

Why did HHH have to bury the entire WWE roster for?

Why was it up to HBK to sell the match better, and with much less airtime?

Why did the match get announced before Raw, when it would have had a bigger impact if HHH had announced it as official on the live broadcast?

So when Taker beats Triple H, theres no point in ordering next yrs Mania because 'nobody else on the roster can beat him'.

What a pointless burial of talent that was. I understand selling the match and putting yrself over as a threat, but its fairly easy to do that without any barbs towards anyone else.

Thank you, JTB.  I took him saying that as a burial to everyone else in the back as well but did not want to come on here and mention it and get accused first thing of starting up my hate for HHH again.  I thought the comment was a low putdown to everyone in the back.

What I'd like to know is what everyone else in the back thought of that.

Something along the lines of "How much longer until this horses ass finally retires?"

Yeah but when he does hes going to be in charge... I actually thought what HHH was pretty much the truth. There is really nobody in the back on that level. It was his way of letting them know they need to step up their game. I dont think he was out of line at all. Undertaker would have done the same thing if he spoke in more than looks and grunts and the occasional cryptic riddle followed by rest in piece. HHH has every right to claim nobody back there is a challenge for him, Kayfabe Sheamus had to hit him from behind with a steel pipe to get the advantage and put him out. Sheamus came down got kicked in the nuts pedigreed through a table end of the storyline. Im not the worlds biggest HHH fan at all I mean I agree he is a horses ass...he's just a horses ass that happens to be right this time.

Ok, I see your point. It just seems like he was intentionally or unintentionally trying to bury the rest of the WWE lockerroom. Im mean, certain guys have, and probably will take that as a motivational speech. Everyone else will just see it the way some of us have.

And I don't think it can do much for future relations, if HHH does take over in the future then he may have trouble controlling the locker room with many maybe still holding a grudge.

As for the match it will be a test for both to see if they can still pull of a good match epsically at the biggest show of the year.  Taker can still perform to a decent level and is still very over, and HHH on his day is solid, so I hope we get a decent match, and at least it hasn't been done for awhile.
Lifes what you make it.

I choose to out think people, who are too dumb and pick on the rich.
