According to sources, WWE is gauging interest in a potential Hardy Boyz return after The Dudley Boyz were brought back.

The company has begun talking about Jeff Hardy on TV again and WWE asked fans on Twitter if they were interested in a Hardy Boyz return, despite the fact that Jeff has been persona non grata since he left the company due to his drug arrest right after.

Jeff Hardy is the only guy who ever looked like he could over-take John Cena as the top guy in WWE, in reality it wouldn't have happened as Jeff had too many personal demons and doesn't have Cena's strong work ethic, but in terms of how over he was and merchandise sales he was very close.

If I were WWE I'd bring them back with a view to using Jeff mostly for a singles run(on a part-time deal as don't think his banged up body could handle the schedule) and maybe have Matt around as a enhancement guy, occasional partner for Jeff and/or maybe a NXT trainer.
The Hardys should be looking at one final WWE run, TNA is on its last legs and they are both nearing the end of their careers.

I wouldn't be touching Jeff with a barge pole given his record. If they are seriously looking into re-signing them Jeff will be on a very strict contract without a doubt.

It seems like Jeff has turned his life around since he had his child a while ago. I'm convinced that there'd be interest in the audience for a Hardy Boyz return. But I think it's more a matter of if Matt & Jeff want to sign or not. Maybe they're gonna ask for the Dudleyz to convince them to go back.

Quote F4WOnline’s Dave Meltzer reported that TNA wants to sign the Hardy Brothers to exclusive contracts prior to their contracts expiring next month. It is worth noting that the Brothers are making good money in the indie circuit and that WWE has recently shown interest in them, especially Matt Hardy. Whether or not the Hardys stay with TNA will depend on the financial offer and how much creative freedom they will have. The negotiations are currently in the beginning stages.

I can't see either signing for WWE because they currently have way more say as they are than E would allow them to have creatively.

Jeff would be part time but I can't see them allowing a low draw guy like Matt the same honour.

I'm sure they could think up an entertaining show to present on the Network together.

Word is WWE want them to come in and do the Broken Matt and Brother Nero stuff, find that a little hard to believe as it seems just out there for WWE plus they hate using other company ideas.

I've seen very little of their TNA stich but it is getting a lot of attention and seems to be the one highlight of the sinking promotion.

I would like to see Jeff come back and finish his career in WWE on a part time deal like Lesnar and Goldberg, however I'm not so sure about Matt as it's not like he ever had a great singles run in WWE.

Matt could have had a great singles run if he hadn't caved over the Edge/Lita angle. he should have been coming out of that on top, instead, Edge became a huge star and Lita a legend, both of them are now Hall of Famers.

Broken Matt is literally, to me, the logical conclusion to Matt Hardy Version... but probably not as batshit crazy as its been in TNA.

Quote From Jim Ross Website

Loved the surprise booking that ROH and the Hardy's utilized over the weekend with Matt and Jeff winning the ROH Tag Team Titles.

I'd speculate that the Hardy's will still eventually wind up in WWE after WM in Orlando. That 'marriage'  just makes too much sense, IMO, at this stage of the careers of Matt and Jeff plus WWE could utilize the Hardy's to help add some much needed sizzle to their tag team scene.

If the Hardy's don't go to WWE, they will not be missing many paydays as this duo is in demand and their new, TV personas are a hit globally. In any event you can bet that the eventual destination for Matt and Jeff will continue to get heavy social media coverage.

Big praise to ROH for keeping it quiet even from the boys in the back and also the Jeff and Matt for finding a new home so fast after leaving Impact.

I'm sure they will be back in E soon enough. They aren't taking bookings for May yet so it could just be a short term contract to cover Mania season.

Wrestlers haven't been this less dependent on E contracts for the whole of this century as they are in this day and age with so much choice out there.
