I do confess I never, ever, ever thought I'd see Jeff Jarrett on this Hall Of Fame list. Even after Vince made peace with all the people he has made peace with, and we all know who they are (Bret Hart, Bruno, etc.) Jarrett was the one guy I was sure would be blackballed forever.

It turns out never say never is true.

Very happy for Ivory by the way. She was one of the better women wrestlers in the late 90's and early 00's.

Oh, and welcome, Smokey B!! Thumbs Up

Very well deserved, arguably the most deserving of all that have been announced this year and the speech i'm most looking forward to.

He's been on TV for upwards of 30 years as a successful wrestler through different companies, had the balls to start his own wrestling venture and is massively responsible for giving the big TV break to so many guys who are now in E.

AJ Styles is probably his biggest success story, but you also have Bobby Roode, Eric Young, Xavier Wood etc. I reckon Jeremy Borash would be perfect to induct him.

Road Dogg would be the most fitting to induct him in my eyes.

I also guarantee that Jarrett will have some heart warming things to say about his tag team partner Owen. Cry

Thanks Kondor!

Jerry Lawler would be my guess as to who would induct Double J.  If you aren't from the Memphis area or don't know much about the Memphis History, then you might not get this.  Memphis wrestling was a big family...if you werent blood kin...that didn't matter.  Jarrett came in during Lawler's hottest time in his career.  Toju Yamamoto took the skinny Jarrett and trained him into what he is today.

If Tojo was alive today, he would be my pick.  But since he passed away in 1992, then Lawler's my pick.

So Karen Smedley/Angle/Jarrett is the only woman to have ever been married to two E hall of fame entrants.

If Jeff runs more GFW shows I wonder if both sides will come to a deal to show them on the Network. E get more live wrestling contest and Global Force more exposure.

I will be dissapointed if Jeff doesn't mention TNA by name. The website article about his induction mentions the part he's played in so many careers, but fails to name TNA.

Aye, if one does know a lot about the Memphis/USWA territory then Jerry Lawler is a good choice to induct Double J. I do confess I was never a fan of the territory but I know they were tag team partners and Lawler was booker with his father. The only thing is that Lawler usually hosts the induction ceremony.

By the way. Smokey feel free to look around the rest of the site and share your thoughts wherever!! Smile

Lawler would be a good choice or perhaps someone with TNA history like AJ Styles or Bobby Roode?

Jeff Jarrett has had a long and extremely eventful career so he’s more than deserving of his spot in the hall of fame, I’m glad it’s happened for him as I really thought it wouldn’t due to the bad blood between him and Vince.

There’s a rumour floating that JJ is good pals with Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Roode and Styles amongst others and was selected for the HOF at the request of Triple H and may possibly become part of HHH’s team as he continues to be groomed to take over day to day operations from Vince.

Quote Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Bam Bam Bigelow & Kid Rock are still expected to be named to the WWE Hall of Fame class.WWE holds their 2018 Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday, April 6th in New Orleans, Louisiana at the Smoothie King Center. Bill Goldberg will headline the class.

Here are the names that have been confirmed to be inducted this year:

Bill Goldberg
Ivory
Jeff Jarrett
The Dudley Boyz

If those two names are the last two confirmed, I would say it's arguably the best class ever.

Every name would be recent enough, when most years there is a Kon level old guy that people don't know much about.

Interesting that E still aren't inducting anybody who is mostly known for their ECW work. Plenty from there are already in, but not their main work such as RVD, Sabu, Taz etc.

I would love it if Bam Bam Bigelow is inducted. He is undoubtedly one of the best big men ever.

This year's class cannot even touch 2013.

Odds on the views of Ultimate Warrior on New Orleans and the victims of Hurricane Katrina being brought up in time for his Warrior Award inductee........

https://www.stormfront.org/forum/t236619/

He never said sorry for his sick disgusting views. In real life he lived the character enough to change his name to Warrior, so we can't say he was in character and not the person.

E will struggle to stop the local Wrestlemania press bringing this back up. Dana will no doubt have a lot to answer for and might even get booed at the ceremony or nasty crowd chants about her nut job deceased husband.
