Quote Goldust, who is currently nursing a shoulder injury, stated today on his Twitter account that he may retire soon.

He wrote, "Guys i think im gonna retire pretty soon."

He added, "Listen i love all of our roster....they work their #!@%*#es off and they r getting faster and stronger and better each day...very proud of all of em."

I still want one last push for Dustin before he goes.  I think he's earned one last featured run.

Quote As we have noted before, injured WWE star Dustin "Goldust" Rhodes has been backstage at WWE's recent TV tapings. Goldust has reportedly been trying out for an agent role with the company.

I know I spotted him at the HoF show and backstage on Raw when Edge left.  Given all the crazy gimmicks he's done thru his career in WWF/E, WCW, and TNA... he has a lot of experience to pass on to the younger guys.

Goldust wrote the following injury update today on Twitter:

"4 to 6 more weeks of therapy to see bout breaking the scar tissue up.....i miss the ring bad"

Good stuff. I am missing his unique character and enjoyed his mini push before he got injured.

I wonder if there is a chance for him to return in time to be on an elimination team at Survivor Series....

It's good he's been keeping busy in his time off by acting as a road agent.

I want that proposed feud to take place between Goldust and Cody, which now can be over the Intercontinental Title, when he comes back. Goldust can return as a throwback to the attitude era and a popular face.

And I want Goldy to win another Intercontinental Title.

Quote Goldust revealed on social media yesterday that he underwent double knee surgery in Birmingham, AL. He did not reveal details of the surgery except that his knees "needed it" nor did he indicate how long he will be out of action for.

Sad news because his most recent appearances have been entertaining to watch and enjoyable.

He's had a lot of bad luck in his career with injuries and this could end it for good.

He's right to not put a time frame on it, because with his age and years of wear and tear in the business, it could be a long hard slog.
