Gotta say Eugenie Bouchard will win today and hopefully continue her record of not dropping a set all tournament.

Trying to call her the next Maria Sharapova (even those she's way better looking and will win Wimbledon way more than once) hasn't put her off her stride.

Kvitova is good as a former champion but the pressure is on her to win.

Unfortunately for us, Canadians, Petra Kvitova made quick work out of Genie Bouchard: 6-3, 6-0 in 55 minutes. Still, that doesn't tarnish at all everything she's accomplished during Wimbledon. I take it that she had to be extremely nervous going into this match, especially against Kvitova, a lefty and one very aggressive player. Can't wait to see what she'll do at the Rogers Cup in Montreal in August.

On the positive side, Canadian Vasek Pospisil & partner Jack Sock did the impossible: beat the Bryan twins to win the doubles tournament. Pospisil was the least likely Canadian to win Wimbledon but he did. Kudos to him!

Bryan twins are brilliant but not to the level of Mark Woodforde and Todd Woodbridge. Those two were near perfect as a team.

Bouchard sadly let herself down in the quickest final for 31 years. She was playing the biggest final of the sport though for the first time so had nerves.

Shame when even the princess she was named after came to watch her.

I think she knows it was a bad day for her. Luckily for her, it's only the 1st one so she'll get her opportunity do win it in the future. 7th in the world since midnight, I'm pretty sure she's happy about it as well.
