That and who really rivals those promos? I mean Savage? Austin? Rocky when he was a heel? Foley/Mankind is very underrated.

Very nice HBK. Great memory of what the deranged Mankind circa 1996 was before he became a comedy face near the end of his run.

Im very curious who he is talking about. I know it cant be HBK because of the match you booked (which might be the best match of the entire Ticket War) but I was still kinda hoping to see Mankind vs HBK on your show. They had the best match of 1996 in my opinion and would be a surefire ***** match if it was booked here

Yes! mind games is easily in my top 10 matches of all time.

*The moans of Sensational Sherri and the characteristic riff of Shawn Michaels's theme music rolls around the arena as he walks from the back towards the ring. A mixed reaction erupts from the crowd, but it is a monstrous reaction no matter the allegiance. Shawn bounces arrogantly down the aisle, taking several opportunities to taunt the audience members by the entrance ramp, and by the time he hits the ring, the crowd is firmly against him. He jumps into the ring and spins on the spot, dancing flamboyantly and smirking non-stop. He grabs a mic:*

Shawn: Cut MY music, monkeys!

*The music cuts off abrubtly.*

Shawn: Now ISN'T IT FITTING, that the number one prospect in all of the wrestling world today, The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels, would be the number one pick for the Full Throttle Wrestling federation. I've made a career of being the number one guy: I was the FIRST Grand Slam Champion, I was the FIRST man to win the Royal Rumble match AT the NUMBER ONE SPOT, and I was one of the FIRST men to compete in one of the most exciting matches known to wrestling today-- the Ladder Match. Now, something I wouldn't expect many of you fans of the Full Throttle Wrestling federation to understand, is what it's LIKE to be the first in something. But you all know, that for the Heartbreak Kid, it doesn't stop there. Not ONLY am I the first in many things, but I am the BEST at all of those things, and THEN some. I AM the most flamboyant superstar in the known wrestling world, I AM Mr. Wrestlemania, and I AM THE SHOWSTOPPAH! THE HEADLINER! THE ICON! THE MAIN EVENT! And I do WHAT I want, WHEN I wanna do it! So right now, what I wanna do--"

*The crowd EXPLODES as the familiar low rider rolls into the arena. Eddie smiles widely and gets out of the car, posing with the fans in the entrance way. He saunters into the ring and points at Shawn, then grabs the mic out of his hands before Shawn realizes it. Eddie winks as his music winds down and he starts talking.*

Eddie: Yo what's up, esse? Numero uno-- meet numero dos, homes! But trust me, Shawn, it takes two to flamenco in a main event! Ever since I was drafted here, I been hearing rumors about you, esse! How you'd take on the best this promotion had to offer... Esta usted loco chico, el desamor?? You didn't have to waste your time running around backstage tellin' everyone ELSE, homes! I'm right here!

*He hands the microphone
back to HBK, who sneers at Eddie and says*

Shawn: I don't care whether you're number DOS, number TRES, number OCHO, number ROJO, number GRACIAS, number BURRITO, or number TACO! This is MY show, and you only speak when I TELL YOU you can, got it pal? But I'm glad you're here, because The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels, doesn't have to come find you. We have a match at Turbo Charged, and I've been thinking long and hard about what stipulation I want. But I realize now that there really is only one match that we really can have. Whaddaya say about a LADDER Match, "esse"?

*Shawn tosses him the mic, but when Eddie catches it HBK tries for a surprise Sweet Chin Music. However, Eddie ducks right before it connects, drops the mic, and grabs HBK around the waist, hitting him with the Three Amigos! He climbs the turnbuckle for a Frog Splash, but Shawn rolls out of the ring and storms up the ramp, cussing Eddie like a dog. Eddie grabs the mic, slaps his chest three times and says:*

Eddie: I AM down with that, and I got THREE WORDS FOR YA: VIVA LA RAZA!!!

*
He poses for the crowd as his music blares and the crowd roars their support as the segment ends.*

*A video package feed suddenly appears on the Titantron. It is set in a gravesite. There is no moonlight to shine on the setting, but a flashlight set at the base of one particular tombstone gives off enough light to be able to make out the name and information of the tombstone, as well as the ground directly in front. The plot is fresh, as if recently dug, and the tombstone bears a chilling epitaph:*

In Loving Memory
Dewey Francis Foley
Born: February 20th, 1992
Died: December 31st, 2011

"Wander, stranger, but take heed, To stay the course, commence your deed.
Your mind I broke, Your heart I'll break, But don't look back for Dewey's sake
The time of doom, end of December. Make sure to watch each dying ember.
And if you stop, you die of fright, poor Dewey will have to die that night."

*As the audience reads the epitaph, the sound of a button being clicked activates in the background, and the sounds of a spin off of the Barney Theme Song is heard in the background, sung by an eery child's voice:

"I know you...
 You know me...
 We're a great big fa-mi-ly..."

Static interrupts the feed momentarily. When the shot comes back, the tombstone lies in pieces, and the camera is pointing into the grave. Thousands of "Mr. Sockos" are piled into the grave. A lit match is thrown into the plot and the sock puppets burst into flame rapidly. A haunting laugh is heard off camera, and the camera tips over into the grave, killing the feed after a few seconds.*

Mind Games? Man, I can't say enough good things about this match. It's probably in my top ten of all time. Just way, way ahead of its time as far as spots/pacing and spots WITHIN a flowing narrative are concerned. Absolutely sensational. Probably the only match to rival the Bret/Austin stuff in that same year.

Yeah -- Foley is GREAT, but there're a LOT of guys that have been sensational: Savage, Rock, Austin -- Flair would be a big one (the Four Horseman stuff especially). Jericho and Roberts, Gillbert and Sawyer. I mean I'm not INSULTING Foley here at all, because when you get to this stage it's really like debating apples and oranges as far as how good these guys are. But IMO there's quite a few who are marginally better, and a few that take it by a country mile.

Not to nit-pick... those aren't the lyrics to the Barney theme song.  I think you have got them confused with the song he sings at the end of the show called "I Love You."  And the lyrics for that are:

I love you
You love me
We're a happy family
With a great big hug and a kiss from me to you
Wont you say you love me to!
