On paper this is possibly the best card AEW have produced to date:
Jon Moxley vs Eddie Kingston - AEW World title Cody Rhodes vs Darby Allin - TNT title FTR vs The Young Bucks - AEW Tag team titles Kenny Omega vs Adam Page - AEW World title number one contender tournament final Chris Jericho vs MJF - If MJF wins he can join the Inner Circle There is also a Womens title match but I really dont care for anything in the AEW womens division right now because it's so poor, they just need to put the belt on Britt Baker and kind of go in a Attitude Era direction with the ladies until they can get enough female talent under contract who can actually work. That's a great card I'm looking forward to every match I've listed and the outcomes present a lot of interesting storyline developments.

The card looks great.
I'm looking forward to Kingston pulling out ridiculous spots Page v Omega should be match of the night easily - maybe even a MOTY contender Darby Allin is such an interesting wrestler - id like to see him win the title here MJF Jericho should be good but im expecting MJF to win and im more interested in the follow up angle where MJF inevitably takes over the inner circle and they all turn on jericho allowing him to have a face run

So ive watched Full Gear and i have to say my post show hopes stated in my post above all pretty much came true.
Omega v Page was insane. The Tiger Driver spot and the powerbomb on the ramp were brutal looking spots in what was easily match of the night for me. Omega is god like when he is booked like this - his in ring ability is second to none. Page was excellent in this too and its clear that he is a future multiple world title winner Cassidy v Silver - This was ok - nothing really good or bad to say about it Darby v Cody RHODES - this was pretty great too. Cody making the most of his height, weight and muscle advantage but Darby was excellent in this too. He sold like a boss but got some flash offence in there too. I'm super hyped he got the win and he becomes AEW's first non-WWE singles champion in the mens division. He has the potential to go right to the top. Shida v Rose was great too. I loved the part when Shida broke up her own pinfall attempt to inflict more damage. This made her look badass - this was one of the better womens matches in AEW - they really need improvement in that roster - maybe it is just how they are used, but this was really really good. Bucks v FTR - This was a great match with great storytelling. Ive seen people calling this the best tag team match in the last 10 years - i wouldnt go anywhere near that statement but it is certainly one of the best tag matches of the year. I'm still not sold on the bucks - i dont know why - they are exceptionally talented but i just dont like them as much as what AEW want me to. Hardy v Sammy - this was a different match in every way imaginable. It had some pretty brutal looking spots and followed on nicely from the type of matches these guys have had. Sammy for me is another guy destined for stardom in AEW. MJF v Jericho - This was a great match. MJF at only 24, is arguably the brightest star in all of wrestling when looking at potential and even how good he is now. He is the perfect heel and this match went how i thought it would. Now we get to see MJF become the leader of the inner circle and Jericho eventually turn face. The crowd spot for Jerichos entrance was great as always - hes super over and rightly so. Le Champion is fantastic. Mox v Kingston - this was exactly what it should have been given the stipulation and the 2 guys involved. An absolute onslaught of violence from start to finish. Mox has had a good run with the belt and i think Omega is the right one to take it from him. This was a great match to top off a great card. Well played AEW

It was a return to form for AEW after the disappointment of All Out, there were some very good matches here and I'm glad AEW seem to have learned that not every match has to be a 45 minute marathon with wrestlers kicking out of every finishing sequence possible.
Omega vs Page was excellent, match of the night for me too and I agree when hes booked like this there are few better than Kenny Omega when it comes to in ring work. Cassidy vs Silver was ok, I felt like it didnt really deserve to be part of such a strong card and I would have preferred it to be on the buy in or left out all together so this show could have been a little shorter. Cody vs Darby was decent but I still find Cody's ring work very formulaic compared to many on the AEW roster. I like Darby as TNT champion too and a feud with Cage and Starks should be good. Shida vs Rose was ok, as I've often said the AEW womens division is something I'm not interested in at the moment so I found it hard to care about this match. The Young Bucks vs FTR was a brilliant piece of storytelling and this showed that having one long match on a card loaded with near falls and big spots is fine, but one is enough so AEW got it right here. Like Heel I'm not a Bucks fan I dont like their flippy spot monkey style and I really think they should work as heels as their personalities are just so annoying, this feud would have made much more sense with the Bucks as heels and FTR as faces. Great match though and YB winning made sense as having half of the Elite members forbidden from challenging for titles would be too much. I loved the Elite Deletion match, Hardy and Sammy shooting each other with fireworks from trenches and all the other crazy goings on and the cameos from Gangrel, Shane Helms and the Hardy family was all great fun. Really enjoyed this great piece of cinematic work. I thought the MJF vs Jericho match was slow and sluggish pretty poor match, but thankfully it was short and the right person won, this is far more about the story than the wrestling anyway I wasnt expecting a classic match. The main event was a wild and crazy brawl, Moxley does his best work in this environment. Looking forward to Mox vs Omega in the near future as I would argue that their previous match was the best singles match Moxley has ever had that I've seen anyway. Really decent show, recommend.
