Well, I got the call today, and it's official: I got the job!

I have orientation on the 12th of October, from there I set up a starting date.

It's going to be hectic working so many hours a week, but I do what I do for my family. Don't think you guys won't be seeing me anymore; I'll be on periodically to save TUP from blatant stupidity every now and then! lol

In all seriousness though, I will be on periodically, so you haven't seen/heard the last of me. Not by a longshot!

Take it easy, guys! And I'll catch you on the flipside!

Congratulations on your job there, Marty! I hope everything goes well for you and your family during your absence. No worries, the forum will still be around and just as insane, but we'll certainly miss you. XD

Sure, it was bending and lifting, but in addition, I had to do a step test in tune with a metronome for three minutes. There are three stages, each one getting progressively faster. Passed the first level with flying colors(once you get the rythym down, it's fairly easy). As the metronome beeps, you step in time with it....your steps are synchronized with each beep. Anyway, we get to the second level, and I guess I just got lost in my head, because for the last 30 seconds or so, I was off beat with the metronome and the dude stopped me from going to the third level. We'll see how that goes. Now, the kneeling and lifting part, I aced easily. He even said so.

* I'm not sure why they had you stepping in time because it's nothing to do with lifting LOL

* If I give you my address could you send me what i'd like to call a "Pepsi Parcel" Tongue

* Can't knock you for helping out your young family during the recession. Congratulations mate and make sure you don't neglect ya family by working too long hours Smile

Don't worry, admin, I won't. Tomorrow(10/9) is my last day at "job #2"(my part-time job at the local cd store) after almost 2 years service. It's going to be a very sad day for me, as I love this job(I frequent TUP most when I'm there, so how could I not love it?! lol) and the people I work with. But, all good things must end, as they say.

Well, as many of you(if not all of you) may have noticed, Mr Member has been MIA for a while, only doing the occasional run-in to TUP. This can be attributed to many things:

1. Working every day, I don't get much time to post

2. In my limited free time, I've been spending every minute of it with my 3 year old daughter. We play games, go outside, to the playground, and watch nickelodeon an awful lot. Oddly enough, one of my favorite things to do is to give her a bath and brush her hair. It's the little things that are much more enjoyable than you'd imagine.

3. I haven't been watching wrestling at all. I'll flip RAW on during commercial breaks during Monday Night Football, but I prefer to watch shitty commercials anymore. I don't watch Smackdown at all anymore, same with TNA. Wrestling in general? I hate the product anymore.

4. I've been trying to get full time at either job, and both want me. I had an interview yesterday at Pepsi to go full time that I can only describe as bizarre. Both managers interviewed me; one seemed to really like me. He conducted the ENTIRE interview, finally asking why I wanted the job. My response? "I want to take care of my family." He smiled, looked me in the eye, and said "That's the best answer I've had so far since doing these interviews." He then looked at the other manager, who had remained silent the whole ten minute interview, and asked "Do you have anything to say or ask?" The other manager spent the whole time either reading my application or just staring at me. WEIRD!! I got the impression he hated me. All he said was "Get your CDL(commercial driver's license) permit; it shows initiative." And that was all he said. So, it was kinda hard to read how the interview went. Now, as for my other interview, it's at my regular job, the grocery store. I'd have to transfer stores(no big deal) and I'd get a pay raise, get full time so they can't whack my hours when business slows down, and would be in charge of a department. So, either way, I'm most likely getting full time at ONE of my jobs! By the way, Pepsi would pay me a TON more than the grocery store!

5. The only thread I've been posting in has been the Superhero World Threat/d....Since I've been not as active lately, I'm trying to make my posts as top notch quality as possible.

6. My wife and I have a second child on the way(due in April) and I've been doing her share of the housework so she can take it a bit easier on herself and the baby.

Well, there you have it. My frequency decrease is in full effect. I'll post when I can. Thanks guys! I love you all.

Wut benefits do you get from working at Pepsi?

Do you get as much free pop as you like, or are they really stingy?

Nah, but at the plant they have every 20 ounce drink(single serve) for 50 cents! lol

The good thing about the Pepsi job is I'll be able to support my family 100% on it and can quit my grocery store job, if I choose.

Good Thing About Working Full Time For Pepsi: More time to spend with the family.

Bad Thing About Working For Pepsi: Tight fisted billion dollar company doesn't give freebies to the staff.

PS: You've spelt Member wrong in your signature lol.
