The guy is class. Being linked to teams such as Leeds, Reading and Derby, but he's too good for any of them.

He should play out the final year of his contract at Swansea, as he's good enough for a bottom half of the premiership team.

He never misses a sitter and he's so good at creating and finishing his own chances.

Commiserations Adders

Hopefully your boys will bounce back at the first attempt

edit: just seen your manager has left now too - perfect chance for the club to rebuild

Cheers pal. It's sad of course, but not as much as past relegations. I suppose when you get older it's more like it's only football, so of course you still care but you don't get as stressed about it all.

Said all along we couldn't rely on the Scabs to help us. Bolton had scored one open play goal in over 800 minutes of football and score three in a afternoon. If it wasn't for Mcburnie we'd have been down sooner.

5/1 favourites with Sky Bet to be champions next season. Probably because our board of billionaires now have their first summer to work their magic, so it should be good times. Plenty of our players are capable enough at league one level, but championship was too much too soon for too many.

For example Tom Bradshaw had to huge scoring seasons at Walsall before we signed him and Kiefer Moore was banging them in on loan at Rotherham. Them two between them should be looking at 30 plus goals next season.

Because we look for a head coach, any decent manager isn't going to come to us under that. No idea who we will go for but I expect us to bounce straight back up.

We had Callum Elder and Adam Armstrong on loan last season. Both were garbage but this season got league one clubs promoted. The gulf in class is huge.

On the plus sides we should win more often. I get to visit some of my favourite away trips such as Scunny and seaside trips to Blackpool and Fleetwood who's supporters bar behind the home goal is the best I have been to. Maybe even try Accrington Stanley.

So after tonights result West Brom are relegated

Huddersfield and Swansea in an apparent shoot out

If Huddersfield lose to Chelsea tomorrow it will go to the last day

Swansea play Stoke and Huddersfield play Arsenal

Southampton play city but it would require a 10 goal swing for them to go down now

If Huddersfield get a point or more tomorrow they are safe

Tense stuff - id hate having to win on the last day stay up - its pressure you dont need

Next year could be the first time in my lifetime that my hometown club are two leagues above my team.

At dads 60th last tuesday 26 of us were eating in a restaurant and all the Terriers thought with their last three games that they would be going down. I told them they would stay up, as I genuinely thought it.

Thought that they would lose at Chelsea but that Man City might be more bothered about lifting the trophy at full time and Arsenal too occupied with it being the last game of Wenger.

So next year Fleetwood Town, my team which I have a season ticket too, will be managed by Joey Barton.

Genuinely don't know how to feel. Horror, revulsion, a odd sense of foreboding. The knowledge that at some point our manager is 100% going to headbutt Ash Hunter because of his standard "I don't have a yellow card yet I need to kick someone" approach.

Also, to be fair, excitement. Barton was a solid midfield enforcer and that's the one thing we don't have. Even though he won't play he will undoubtedly coach more steel and physicality into the players. Our owner tends to make good decisions so who knows?

In other news, I've been following Liverpool since 2005, just after I first moved to the Blackpool area and well before I got into football proper in 2010 and it's great to see them returning to their glory days under a manager I've always loved in Jurgen Klopp. Very excited for this game. It's going to be absolute chaos.

Hopefully we play you when it's warm. Love my seaside trips and you have my favourite supporters bar LOL Helps that it has railings and about eight behind the bar who know who to serve next so people can't push in. Door staff are gents too welcoming you with your away team shirt on. Barton if nothing else has promoted your club no end through publicity.

More good players should get their first chance in management, instead of clubs going after the same old guys with multiple sackings on their CV. It's worked well with Nolan at Notts County, Kewell at Crawley and Rangers have done the right thing getting Gerrard.

Hope Liverpool win tonight. It's England vs Spain that's how I see it. Salah by his standards is going through a dry patch. Liverpool are going to have to score at least twice. They struggle with clean sheets at the best of times and thought 75 million on a defender of a relegation threatened club was good business.

Can't argue with you about the promotion. Having him as ambassador, let alone manager, is guaranteed to open doors and honestly we're struggling in league one. The owner is focussing on long term and we won't see that translated on to the pitch for another five years or so.

Jim's is great. We go there if there's a big game for the early kick off and we always end up sharing a table with the visitors. It's good to learn about things from the other side. I'll look forward to having you come down.

With you about new managers. Not sure how Gerrard will do but really it's win win.

Regards Van Dijk I think he's added a lot to our defence, and I mean a lot. Our goals conceded has been cut in half. If you look at the table we're 2nd for goals scored and I think 6th for conceded? Considering we're in 4th that's nowhere near as bad as some people think but it was at the beginning of the season.

But you're right that our defence remains shaky. We overcommit. So do Real Madrid. It's going to be mental.

I'm in the money. Max tenner on BTTS Betfred allowed for the play off final let me down, but the max tenner they allowed on Real Madrid two score twice at 5/4 came in so twenty on, 22.50 back big money for a profitable day LOL

Villa were shocking. Not even a corner, nevermind a goal. Grealish had five really good chances to score. The cause wasn't helped by Hourihane the handsome bastard going off injured and Fulham having an 18 year old who should be in the England world cup squad.

Karius should never play for Liverpool again. Neither should Mignolet to be fair. Said this morning Liverpool don't keep clean sheets. This summer they need two new keepers and 2-3 brand new defenders. They could do a lot worse than get Buffon on a freebie.
