Showing some fight though. Don't want to go down because Conference level is tougher than ever with so many decent former league teams trying to get back into the football league.

At 0-0 yesterday the Brighton defender Lewis Dunk did a blatant handball that the ref didn't give a penalty for, which could have changed the whole match.

The other night against Villa was a great win and a few of the players even tweeted the hashtag TeamLikeBarnsley that fans started and is now used as a motivational thing for the players as we hear it all the time from so called bigger teams fans saying they should be beating teams like Barnsley.

Haha, guwon the Tykes fans!

As for us, I think we need to go down just to build again. There's been far too many mistakes in the past two years and we need to start over. I know we still have a chance at staying up but it's going to be a long shot.

Plus our shitness started with Terry Butcher LOL

Relegation worked for us. For years we were stale just fighting relegation battle after relegation battle, just doing enough and with has beens or overated name players (Frimpong and Mido for example).

We went down and changed the total outlook of the club. We don't sign anyone as old as the mid 20s now. Older guys in the team are old because they have been with us long term.

We trail the lower leagues for guys in their late teens and early twenties who can be polished up and sold on for huge profit down the line so the money can be invested back into the club to avoid debt and it's gone well for the past three years or so now.

That's the way we need to go really. We got some good links with Cardiff and Swansea to get some decent youngsters on loan and give them game time. However these couple of years of mis-management is going to take a few years to sort I think, so I would probably prefer to see us go down to sort everything else out before going back up.

The loan market i'm not a fan of. They are either shit or they are good and you have no chance of signing them because a bigger team will offer them more money. That said they have worked well the past two seasons with Ashley Fletcher, Lloyd Isgrove and Josh Brownhill last season and this year Adam Kent and Adam Armstrong.

Young and hungry lower league players glad of the chance works really well. In the summer I expect both our centre halfs Marc Roberts (new club captain since Hourihane left) from Halifax Town and Angus McDonald from Torquay United both non league clubs to have bids made for.

Delighted for Alfie Mawson 3 in 6 for Swansea and one earlier in the season. Not bad for a goal scoring centre half in a struggling team. Can see him and John Stones as England centre halfs down the line, which would make me absolutely delighted.

Loan market has done well for one lad we had, Rhys Healey. Banged some goals in during other loan stints but his time with us got old man Warnock to take notice of him and recalled him last month. Has since made his debut, scored, become a starter and sadly damaged his cruciate ligaments and is now out for a year, so yeah the market does work.

However, I do agree that there's a lot of talent to be found in non league. When you see some of the big names started out down there you know there's a chance. In recent times we've had the likes of Chris Smalling and Jamie Vardy starting off in non league and getting given a chance.

I have to give credit to you guys and Posh as they seem to take a gamble on a few non league gems for little money and use it to their advantage.
