We are down the same route as so far we've signed.......

Marley Watkins: Inverness and scored for them in their Scottish cup final win last season. Winger.

Marc Roberts: Centre half off non league Halifax Town.

Conor Wilkinson: Inexperienced Bolton Wanderers kid on loan until January who plays as a target man.

Alfie Mawson: Can go down as a coup for us. Alot of sides wanted this defender including numerous championship clubs. Blunts offered him way more and he still joined us. Inexperienced spent last season on loan at Wycombe Wanderers.

We still need about double figures worth of players and an hell of a lot of proven guys who have done it before in league football at championship/league one level.

We still need 3/4 players, my only hope for this season is:

A) Butcher does what he did at Inverness and does very well on a crap budget

or

B) There's two teams worse than us.

You will be alright there is still just under four weeks until it matters.

Compared to last season where we only finished midtable our team is alot smaller and less experienced so that's a worry when we all expect a promotion challenge.

The saturday games until the start of the season are all at home against Mansfield Town for Bobby Hassell's testimonial, Middlesborough and then Huddersfield Town on Yorkshire day.

Adders, who is this Mason Holgate kid being linked with Villa? £1m sounds a lot for an 18 year old.

Only played 22 league one games at right back and looks like Harley Sylvester from Rizzle Kicks.

Apparently turned down Swansea because he couldn't agree terms this week.

Alan Nixon journalist for The Sun who broke that Alfie Mawson had turned down bigger clubs for us has said today on Twitter that a new club has entered the "race for mas".

I have no problem with him leaving just him not signing a new contract first. John Stones for example showed massive loyalty knowing he was about to leave but signing a new three year contract to make sure the club that made him the player he is today got compensated better than they would have done without the new contract.

He's not in the same class as him. Good player but too slow as a right back and too short to ever be a centre half. He'd be better off signing a new contract, having a full season for the first time ever and giving him a better shot next summer of even better money elsewhere and more likely to be a first team regular.

Plus DZ, what a cunt Delph is, reject the move one day, decides nah fuck that i'm going a few days later haha.

Absolute bellend.

Almost as bad as those scouse jokers, "we'll meet the Benteke release fee, but we want to pay you a fiver a week until it's paid off". I don't understand why they're buying him, they don't even cross.

It's cos they can. Benteke had a pretty shite season until Sherwood showed up and Liverpool won't play to his strengths so it's a pointless signing if he goes. Man Utd need a striker so could bid for him overnight LOL

Tim wants to replace him with Aderbayawn too, poor Villa fans LOL

He's training for a fortnight with Man United alongside Paul Digby who's a centre mid that's defensive.

Fans are generally baffled about Diggers. He's a regular in all levels of England youth so clearly highly rated. But for us he's not mobile enough, puffs too quickly, injury prone and is built like a centre half. Still only twenty though.

Just gotta get used to big vultures swooping for bargains because since John Stones everyone is looking more than ever at our academy.

Have you got much of a sell on clause for Stones Adders? Chelski will pay way over the odds for him so you must be set to get at least 10% right? Could be a nice £3m going to your coffers if he leaves this transfer window.
