It's crazy that they get three million for him and when we eventually lose Chris O Grady we will be lucky to get 750k.

Both players have a similar amount of goals, from a similar amount of games and are of a similar age.

If anything COG should be worth more for doing so well in a much worse team.

From what I saw he scored most his goals in the first few weeks of the season and did fuck all for the other 7 months, ditto James Vaughan at Huddersfield.

COG for us scored 15 of our 44 league goals. Most of that time he either had someone shit beside him (Chris Dagnall, Nick Proschwitz, Marcus Pederson) or was played as a lone striker out of position on the left side.

Grabban only got a few more in a way better side, with better strike partners and more quality supplying him with chances.

James Vaughan spent a fair bit of time injured (no surprise there as he's always been injury prone) but they expect him to be fit for pre season training.

My prediction for the winner next season is the same as it was for this one ...

Cheslea to win the league (believe it more so now they have Costa)

Liverpool, Arsenal, City rounding off the top four with Spurs in 5th and United in 6th

Newcastle will have a bang average season unless we sign someone

If we get some decent players then id go with 8th
No signings at all then we are looking at about 14th

Heard some massive praise for Can and Moreno (Moreno supposed to be announced in the next couple of days). Absolutely loving this window for us so far.

Add Lallana to that which still should happen after the World Cup. Plus strong rumours of a couple of Barca players with a good chance of getting signed (assuming its Tello and or Sanchez). Still need a CB though because Skrtel is awful.

Obviously our biggest transfer window task is yet to come with keeping Luis. Hopefully if he goes we can get it wrapped up quickly after the World Cup so we can go after Balo or Cavani as a replacement. Signing either of them will still put is a least 30mil in the positive after the Luis sale.

Any season the Mancs or Chelsea don't win is a good season so lets all hope for that.
All Hail Mitchell Johnson and David Warner.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2657042/David-Bentley-retires-football-ex-Tottenham-Arsenal-midfielder-falls-love-game.html

He should just admit that he's retired because he's shit. At least then he'd come across much less ungrateful to the game that made an average player a multi millionaire set for life.

He didn't play at all last season so you could say he retired a year ago anyway.

Seven clubs is abit of a journeyman for someone who played so little first team games.
