New season fixtures get released 16th June, so appropes to make a new thread I think.

Who do you support?
Who will you sign/sell?
Will you finish better than last season?
Is Joey Barton still a cunt?

Quote Former England internationals Owen Hargreaves and Michael Owen are among the players who are available on free transfers this summer.

Manchester City confirmed last month that they would not offering injury-hit midfielder Hargreaves a new deal, while striker Owen broke the news he was heading for the Old Trafford exits via Twitter.

All clubs are required to submit their players released and players retained lists to the Premier League by the third Saturday in May, apart from Chelsea who had a deadline of four days following the UEFA Champions League final.

Striker Didier Drogba revealed he would be leaving Stamford Bridge, while Salomon Kalou and Jose Bosingwa have been shown the door by the European champions.

It is understood that Fulham are still in talks with Danny Murphy and Pavel Pogrebnyak about extended stays with talks on-going and offers made to the key duo.

But the Cottagers are not in discussions with striker Andrew Johnson, midfielder Bjorn Helge Riise or defender Zdenek Grygera about new deals, and they are set to leave Craven Cottage.

Although defender Ledley King was not on Tottenham's retained list following the expiration of his contract, he says he will be back at White Hart Lane next season in either a playing or coaching capacity.

Paul Scholes was named on Manchester United's released players list, but has since signed a new deal with the Red Devils, while former Liverpool defender Fabio Aurelio has joined Gremio after seeing out his Anfield contract.

Villa

Sign: Holt, possibly Guthrie. We need new full backs and a midfield boss too
Sell: hopefully Dunne and Warnock, Collins can go if we get in a couple of quality CB's, Agbonlahor might go if Sunderland pay enough.

Definitely finish higher than last season

Prediction mid table

Barton is still a massive cunt.

Hazard to Chelsea has been completed, and Man Utd have signed Shinji Kagawa from Dortmund subject to a medical and work permit.

Support: Barnsley.

Sign/Sell: Jacob 'Buttercup' Butterfield will be off. Wouldn't be surprised to see cheeky bids for the likes of Jim McNulty, Luke Steele and Craig Davies. I'd like us to get Lee Williamson on a free out of contract with the Blunts. He'd add some steal to our midfield. Wouldn't mind someone like Gary Roberts who's been released by Huddersfield. Keith Andrews would be a good freebie if we can manage the funds together to offer him a good wage.

Will you finish better than last year: 4th bottom last season due to losing upwards of ten players during the second half of the season. I think we will be higher this year with a first real pre season for our managerial team.

Is Joey Barton still a c***: Yes.

Support: Newport County

Sign/Sell: Gary Warren has left us to join Inverness, and our best player Sam Foley has signed for Yeovil :( however Lee Minshull has signed for another season, along with rumours that Ramone Rose will be signed up too. We still need loads of players and nobody has been linked.

Finish Better than last year: Too right, we survived just about, but with Edinburgh in charge we should be a solid mid table team.

As for Joey Barton, yes, but he's a twitter legend too!
