So does anyone think that Foley will be an asset or a detour to the demise of TNA?

I think he will help but, then I didn't think he was that great in the WWE. Whats happening in TNA is a strange direction I mean the Main Event  Mafia thing isn't that just the four horsemen under a new namesake??? I have seen the same type of thing in the local show here in CO called Fusion Pro Wrestling where I have seen AJ Styles in action and what a show he is definitely the future of  wrestling. So in my opinion I think TNA will let the storyline play out and then maybe have some new talent come in. The whole battle of veterans and newcomers is not a good line. I just like what they do in ring in general its not a lot of extra Striipped down talent. The anti-Divas knockout division actually have some talent and well what can I say I tune in each week.

thanks for listening... shredder88

I honestly think that Foley as the "Boss" of TNA can only be a good thing. They've never really had any definite form of authority since they started. They've had Larry Z as a "championship committee" member, and Jim Cornette as "the new face of TNA management", but this is the first time we've actually had the term "Boss".

I like the way TNA is going at the moment, but I fear that TNA creative will quickly screw it up somehow. For entertainment, the MEM angle could indeed be good, but for the future of the business...I'm not so sure.

On a happy note, welcome to TUP shredder!

yeah you are right about not really have anyone in charge. I did like Jim Cornette when he had his role. I think that Foley will be an active boss as that is what he had said in a recent interview. I look forward to posting comments on this forum.

I enjoy watching wrestling in general and so I do watch both WWE and TNA but, at this point prefer the new talent and... so on with TNA.

I wonder if Jeff Jarrett will do anymore angles with him in competition?

I know that this "Mick Foley is the boss" storyline is most likely not legit, but Jeff Jarrett must seriously trust Mick Foley to even put him in this storyline as the figure head "executive shareholder" of TNA.

I'm more than sure that while this position is only there in kayfabe, he's gotta have some influence and some backstage power. At the very least, Foley can help keep the Main Event Mafia situation from getting out of hand in the locker room both in and out of character.

* Sting did his annoying "lets repeat the name of who i'm talking to" thing again. He barely spoke for a minute to Foley and still managed to say "Mick" five times at last count.

* These two interacting could end up becoming a weekly occurance, as it would be fresh television.

* There's definate money in a "14 Years In The Making" match or two between these two legends.

* Just because Mick is a storyline boss, does not mean we won't see him wrestling.

I believe I read somewhere that Mick signed with TNA without the intention to wrestle at all, so while a Sting vs Foley match may be (somewhat) interesting...I can't see it happening.

Mick's way past it unless it's a hardcore match, and Sting himself knows he's past it too. The match would be very slow and I could see a few botches appearing throughout.
