Made a statement today saying Zack Gibson is gone. It mentions sports entertainment and worldwide so think they are hinting at E.

He will be a huge loss as the main part of the show, but if he ends up on NXT or more likely 205 Live I will be happy.

It's only been going a few weeks and the top star has already been poached.

If he is off to America and WWE or heaven forbid TNA, it goes to show with a bit of TV exposure these talents are getting noticed.

For this reason I see Five Star being short-lived. It’s like that other promotion years ago that launched with a similar style product using ex WWE veterans and some indie guys, XFW was it? They had Hogan and Flair there briefly. Anyway WWE came along and poached all the top talent, job done the company folded.

So it's gone bust already. It is no more and I feel for the talent being managed so poorly.

Big arenas, three hour shows, expensive foreign talent and no female roster. The total opposite of what they should have gone for in packed cheaper smaller venues, two hour show, no foreign talent or just one or two and a female roster like all major companies have.

Writing was on the wall when the week after the snow they cancelled a snow due to snow when it had all melted by then. That was very odd. I put it down to the money issues.

This was one of the reasons I had zero interest in this company, the management was horrific the writing was on the wall from day one and I’m not a bit surprised they’ve gone bust.

They were booking arenas with capacities of as much as 12K but only drawing a few hundred fans.

Signing high priced big name veterans who weren’t giving a return on the investment.

Sloppy amateurish booking and production from what I heard.

Amazes me that companies like this are so dumb to over-stretch their resources so quickly not realising they will see no profit and end up massively in the red and as shown here end up having to fold very quickly. RIP another wrestling promotion.
