Quote Baron Corbin comes down to the ring, and he's got a mic. Corbin cuts a promo on Finn Balor and shows footage of what happened between them last week. He calls out Balor, and Balor down to the ring. Corbin wants Balor to apologize, and Balor sarcastically apologizes and makes fun of Corbin's clothes. Corbin gets mad and calls Balor a little twerp, and demands that Balor apologizes. Balor calls Corbin Stephanie's stooge, and Corbin decks him with a right hand. Balor fights back and knocks Corbin outside. Corbin recovers and heads up the ramp as Balor stares him down from the ring.

The most heelish thing about Corbin is that Vince gave him the same name as the young son of one of his very best friends in President Trump.

Heel who was clearly in the wrong, wanting babyface to say sorry is a weak way to start something between them.

Corbin has to take banter from Finn for stuff like his hair, but imagine how heelish Baron could have been if he had been allowed to take the piss out of that rainbow t shirt Finn wears when he's not in Saudi Arabia.

They have completely changed , and in my opinion, ruined Finns character. Not since the Undertaker has a entrance been as exciting as the Demon Finn Baylor but that's just a memory now. I hope he hasn't fallen down the same path as Asuka, Tyler Breeze and others who had such a promising future just to get lost in the shuffle.

He's only high midcard for me at best. But it's still higher than Corbin who I would put at low midcard.

Quote Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin: Corbin starts off strong off the opening bell, and he drops Balor with an elbow to the face. Balor fights back with a dropkick and the fight spills outside. Balor hits the Sling Blade on Corbin at ringside. Back in the ring, they fight in the corner until Corbin knocks Balor down to the ringside floor. Back in the ring, Corbin puts Balor in a chin lock and tries to keep him grounded. Corbin misses a shot in the corner but comes back with a running clothesline for a two count. Balor comes back and knocks Corbin to the outside, but Corbin fires back with a right hand and a back suplex on the corner of the apron. Back on the mat, Corbin looks for a powerbomb, but Balor escapes and hits a double foot stomp. Balor fires off with chops to the chest and kicks Corbin through the ropes down to the floor. Balor follows up with a suicide dive over the top rope down onto Corbin on the floor. Corbin turns things around back in the ring and looks for a chokeslam, but Balor escapes. Balor comes back with a successful chokeslam backbreaker for a two count. Corbin pummels on Balor and then looks for the Deep Six, but Corbin escapes and hits a DDT. Balor kicks Corbin down and goes up top, but he misses the stomp. Corbin comes back with the Deep Six for a two count. The fight spills out to ringside again where Balor hits a dropkick on Corbin into the fan barricade. Back in the ring, Balor hits a running dropkick and then goes up top. Balor misses the Coup De Grace, and Corbin comes back with the End of Days for the three count.

Winner: Baron Corbin

- After the match, Corbin goes back to Balor and picks him up. Balor starts fighting back, but Corbin throws him down to the ringside floor and follows him out. Corbin pummels on Balor against the fan barricade before leaving. Corbin heads to the back as a ref checks on Balor.

We didn't need to see them in another plain old one on one so soon after the last one.

I suspect their last match against eachother will be won by Finn with some gimmick involved.

Balor is lost in the shuffle on Raw, he doesn’t have enough personality to succeed on the big character heavy brand. I would swap him for Orton on Smackdown as Randy will fit in much better on Raw while Balor will be far more at home on Smackdown. Would also be interesting to see all four Bullet Club members together on the blue brand.

I also only really view Corbin as a mid-card act although they have been able to tap into his personality more in his Constable role, I hate seeing wrestlers work matches in business clothing though, doesn’t make sense as surely if you had a office role which required smart clothing you would change into something more practical when competing in any kind of sport.

What a joke. Finn Balor was a Universal Champ and now he is barley making a mid card match. What a waste. The Demon character must have retired , it’s been a year since we’ve seen that. Oh by the way , is that character undefeated ? Just sayin , haha , well for yet another big team guy coming from NXT that basically has no direction and no one to really feud with. It seems to me that again I say , too much talent in the pool and the writers don’t know what direction to take some of them in. The Demon needs a reason to come back so he needs a meaningful feud. May as well but him in a stable with Fandango, Tyler Breeze and The Acension.

That match made the storylines worth it. Welcome back to the Demon King. I even gotta give credit to Corbin for playing the part of Kamala circa SummerSlam 92.

First time I legit marked for SummerSlam.

Quote Corbin gets back on the mic and says he's going to make another match that Kurt Angle was too scared to make: Corbin vs. Finn Balor the man, not the demon.

- Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin: The opening bell sounds and Corbin takes the fight to Balor in the corner early on, then decks him with a clothesline for a two count. Balor springboards to the apron to dodge a shot, but Corbin connects with an elbow to the head that knocks Balor to the floor. Back in the ring, Corbin stomps on Balor to keep him grounded. Balor breaks free and runs the ropes, then drops Balor with the sling blade. Balor follows up with a double foot stomp, then lays into Corbin with chops to the chest. Corbin misses a shot in the corner and Balor fires back with another sling blade. Balor looks for a running dropkick, but Corbin catches him and hits the Deep Six for a two count. Balor comes back with a clothesline and knocks Corbin to the outside, and Balor follows up with a suicide dive over the top rope. Corbin reaches for a steel chair, but Balor stops him and throws him back in the ring. Balor misses the Coup De Grace, and Corbin grabs the steel chair from the apron and nails Balor with it in the midsection. The ref calls for the bell.
Winner via DQ: Finn Balor

- After the match, Corbin rolls outside and gets on the mic. Corbin says he forgot to say, this is a No Disqualification match, and then he gets back in the ring and the bell sounds again.

- Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin: Corbin rolls back in the ring, and he continues the beat-down on Balor. Corbin pins for the three count almost immediately.

Winner: Baron Corbin
- Corbin heads to the back as Balor recovers in the ring.

This fued is terrible. It's going nowhere and helping neither of them.

Having a throwaway match like this doesn't help the storyline because it feels rushed.

The crowd was dead to Corbin cheating because nobody cares about him enough to boo.
