What is the longest WWE tried to push someone only have them fail?

LETS LIST THEM!

Bobby Lashley. They wanted to make a new, bigger, blacker Brock Lesnar and failed miserably. His his teeny voice and lack of real in-ring talent, Lashley was never going to be the intense monster that Lesnar was. It's no wonder he left.

Jack Swagger. Stupid name just from the get go. Sounds like a pirate. His World Title run was a sham and if anything it brought down the legitimacy of the big gold belt to like US Title levels. The idea of creating a new Kurt Angle is retarded anyways - you can NEVER replace Angle, and this frat-boy looking jackass certainly wasn't the person to do it.

Bobby lashley failed because WWE pushed him as a basic beast powerhouse. Fact is, he has a very good mat game, ontop of power, on top of being one of the most athletic dudes in the game (at that time).

Anyway, I would go Drew Mac. I kinda like him now, but he constantly gets his pushes, regardless of never getting any reaction. I find it odd though, he has a look, mic skills, lots of in ring charisma (something rarely seen right now, charisma in the ring, telling a great story.), and a solid worker. I dont understand it, but for what ever reason no one wants to really react to him.

Vlad Kozlov. Anyone remember that one Raw when Kozlov went over on Taker clean? I sure do. Fact is the man got no reaction, he is a terrible worker with no charisma, horrible look; Hes flabby and looks like a grandpa from the home. *See Ric Flair.* He got a mega push, and now he is where he should be. Jobber/comedy tag team.

Great Khali. Makes big dudes look really bad. Andre atleast was a good story teller. Goldberg atleast had that IT factor and an amazing character. Theres plenty of monsters who got over. Khali couldnt do it, he was just always so pathetic. From the time HBK screamed at him during the Rumble, "Look at the camera" to the time he held up the World title, upside down. He is just a pathetic worker, clueless sad man. One of the worst giant, monster wrestlers of all time and got a huge push.

PS. Why is the WWE thread in the general section? :P

One thing I wanna add about Khali:  Lack of movement.  I mean, the guy shuffles to the ring instead of walking, and acts like he has no joints in his entire body.  Knees, elbows, nothing.  He's a stiff.

Jack Swagger failed miserebly with his push as world heavyweight champion.

Great Khali reasons already explained

Jackson Andrews didn't even make it past 3 weeks in the wwe.

MVP they really dropped the ball with him he had a great reaction regardless of whether he was heel or face could've been in the main event but didn't work out.

Kaval lets not go there

Mr. Kennedy -- was gonna be the illegitimate son of Mr. McMahon but failed a drug test resulting in a suspension then after hurting Orton during the Denver Debacle match, he wasn't around for much longer. He also unfairly got blamed for Cena getting injured but after watching the match, he was not at fault at all.  That was just a freak accident.

If mic skills are the one factor that stands above moves, character personality and drawing heat, how did Swagger get the title when he clearly has little to no mic skills?

Eh, something about a wrestler having the "Colligate(?) Grappling" backround warrents for an automatic push, I guess.

You guys are stupid. The subject is called "failed wrestlers WWE kept pushing", not "Guys WWE should have pushed".

Jackson Andrews was never pushed, the only time he did anything he got squashed. Mr. Kennedy never got the push because he was a one trick pony with a bad attitude who couldn't stop injuring himself. MVP got a push at the beginning of his career but his heart problem and criminal record held him down. Kaval sucks.

Not sure how Jack Swagger was ever "pushed". A World Championship, if you lose every match you've ever had, is not a push. Also, he wasn't continually pushed, if you want to call it that anyway. He held the title for what, three months? Before and after that he was a jobber.

Drew Mac's never had any monster Lashley/Lesnar/Goldberg type pushes, and they did give up.

Beefy, Goldberg is a midget compared to Andre and Khali, don't know why you put him in as a big man of that stature.

And you all forgot Lex Luger.

Wade Barrett, He pushed into the main event with Cena, Orton and others for about 6 months from June to December when he wasnt ready and all of those Main Event matches were bad to mediocre and now he may not even get on the WM card let alone a featured wrestler on the card.

Read he'll be in an 8man tag match at WM

Luger did not fail at all.

And how is Goldberg not a monster big man?
