Quote IMPACT Wrestling co-executive vice president Don Callis recently participated in a media call and talked about several professional wrestling topics. Callis was made aware on the call that Amore would not be charged in an alleged sexual assault that stemmed from an accusation this past January.

He was then asked about the possibility of Amore working for IMPACT Wrestling:

“This is news to me, I didn’t know that. I haven’t, frankly, followed any of that; not to say that I wasn’t aware that story has been out there. I guess you say never say never, and you evaluate talent based on need and what you’re looking to do,” Callis said.

“We have a long-term plan for how we engage with talent in terms of who’s gonna be on the roster, what roster spots we need filled, etc. It’s not as much of a random thing. So as with any other talent, time will tell.”

I hope so. He's a good name to have on board and they will probably see a better Enzo than E ever did.

After what he's been through I suspect a better backstage attitude and that he's knuckle down to try and impress E to sign him back in the future.

He'd be great up against guys like Eli Drake.

I don't want him back in wrestling he's a mouthpiece and an annoying one at that, Impact are already pretty close to dying signing him would just be another nail in the coffin.

If he returns to wrestling it should be with WWE, I know they guy had his issues backstage but he was entertaining and his segments drew ratings.

As a mid-card heel he definitely has a place in WWE.

He'll probably never get another job back in WWE after the accusations.

I know he was proven to be innocent but he was not dismissed based on the thought he may be guilty. From what i remember he was dismissed because he did not inform the WWE about the fact he was under investigation.

That shows to me that he cant be trusted and i doubt we will see him back in WWE.

Also, as Fletch stated above, he had issues backstage and wasnt well liked and again from my understanding, WWE were looking for a reason to fire him.

He'll probably go to Impact and have a decent run because he wont be as restricted there in terms of what he can and cant say, however the company seem to be dying - theyve been taken over, merged, split - fucking everything other than folded to be honest and its only a matter of time

WWE were looking for a reason to get rid of him and they got it with this false allegations. If I was Eric i'd go and tour the indy scene for a while, build back up then go from there.

TNA have been on the brink of death several times over but each time through heavy streamlining/cost cutting of the company and last minute investors they keep surviving, however they have gone from being close to becoming a legitimate rival to WWE and genuine alternative for top talent to work for, to nothing more than a small time glorified indy fed with limited resources. Its a real shame as once upon a time I really enjoyed their product.

Anyway point being Enzo is probably better served working the indies capitalising on his name value, he can make a good living there and he will have no restrictions on the mic.

Enzo was not proven innocent. The charges were dropped because of insufficient evidence and a sketchy past on his accuser. That doesn't prove innocence, it suggests it, albeit strongly.

Enzo would be a fantastic on-screen manager. One of the best ever if he committed to it. Bobby Heenan could have been someone as a wrestler too. And in the junior heavyweight division he might have been quite successful. But he made it into the hall of fame as an annoying talker that made everyone want to punch him. That sounds just like Enzo.

Relationships with the guys backstage can be ironed out. That's a non-issue, issues with management are harder, and issues with legal and PR even harder once those relationships sour. I really don't know that we will see Enzo in the wwe again.

Impact? Maybe I guess, but I wouldn't hold my breath on him finding success there.

Enzo had pissed a lot of people off, from the talent to the management to the backstage staff, he was not well liked.

I think his one saving grace was Triple H always seemed to be high on him, however I wonder if even that relationship
soured in the end.

I agree I think it’s unlikely we will see Enzo Amore back in WWE, never say never though.
