Don't watch NXT so I never saw him but he caught my interest from the off. The fact that he used to just walk across backstage interviews, and The Miz and Kurt Angle would just look confused and ask who he was, I liked that. It was funny.

When he started his in-ring promos they were good but I think it was the Summerslam pre-show that really cemented him for me. He was always cutting face promos with heel heat, building up a stockpile of catchphrases that he would later use when he turned face but staying heel for now (because heels grow and faces draw) Rock style.

At Summerslam he briefly went face for a song and you saw just how huge this guy was going to be when they pulled that trigger. He played a jovial, fun song that had everyone in the audience clapping along.

And then he's like "Houston, when did you lose your balls" and the entire arena just turned on him. The betrayal. The fury. The hatred.

The fact that they're not solidly pushing him is solidly pushing him. People are getting invested in this guy, and they're desperate to see him go higher and higher. He hasn't been involved in any major storylines. He's had a couple of major matches but nothing really worth writing home about. The swell of support is only going to grow.

The best thing they can do right now is nothing at all. His promos are exciting. His matches are fun. He's been in the ring with a lot of the big names on Raw now so they might be swapping him for someone like Corbin, but if they just hold him as he is the fans are just going to get more and more determined to turn him face. When they do that, he'll be huge, but he'll be stuck where he is until he turns heel again.

I seriously can't wait though. I love this guy.

Tom, you need to tell your drug dealer to lay off the straight product and to put more filler into your clear ziplock bag. To see someone paint Elias' promos like are are this great thing is vomit inducing. And I still have no idea what planet the people who like him are on.

Anyway it's gotten to the point where I don't even watch this guy anymore. I literally either turn the volume down so I am not tortured or outright change the channel when he comes on, especially if he comes with a guitar, as I know he'll be on a while.

The guy sucks in every way and he is the first guy I have ever actively wished to see released. That will be a great day.

Kondor - you need to face facts, embrace the moment and Walk With Elias

I think you are the only person i have seen say anything bad about him.

His promos are fantastic and whilst may air on the side of being repetitive, always engage the crowd and you can hear the laughs when he drops whatever insult he has conjured up

Elias will not be released, the only thing being released will be his potential when he picks up singles gold sooner rather than later

Elias has star potential. In the future they may have to tone down the guitar playing gimmick as its very much a mid-card act but I could easily see him progressing up to main event level down the line.

I'm a big fan, his guitar playing promos are always entertaining and the guy is decent in the ring.

I mark a little every time I see him drop an elbow off the top rope. Right now he is a shining star in the mid-card. He's going to need more though if he's going to get to main event.

According to sources, Elias is being lined up to be Strowmans partner in the Tag Title match at Mania - what a day to be alive Mania day will be if that happens

I think I'd rather James Elsworth.

Elias should just give a concert at mania, and then challenge for the IC title following the PPV. No need to shoe horn him into some place he doesn't belong.

This week on Raw, Elias not only once again subjected viewers to his stale act, but contributed to the near extinction of the rhinoceros.

For shame.

Agreed. His repetitive same old bland act is getting boring again, when for a while it was interesting.

Quote Elias gets in the ring with his guitar, and asks the crowd who's walking with Elias. He sings a song trashing Cleveland sports teams, and about WrestleMania. Rhyno comes out to interrupt, and we have a match.

- Rhyno vs. Elias: Heath Slater is at ringside. Elias and Rhyno trade strikes in the opening moments. Rhyno drops Elias with a shoulder tackle, but Elias fights back with an elbow to the face. Elias stomps on Rhyno while he's down. Rhyno fights his way up and hits some chops and some clotheslines. Elias fights back with a knee to the face and a clothesline of his own. Elias hits the Drift Away for the three count.

Winner: Elias

- After the match, Slater checks on Rhyno. Elisas attacks Slater and hits the Drift Away on him too before leaving.

Kurt should tell the crowd why he gives Elias a weekly solo in ring segment, when he's so far down the card he's in the clusterfuck royal at Mania.

Nobody outside of Cleveland is going to care about him bashing their sports team.
