Asking who wants to walk with him is getting him a far to babyface reaction for a heel.

You seem to say that comment an awful lot and it makes absolutely no sense what so ever

There are no heels currently in WWE who get serious heat - the majority of crowds are becoming more and more smark(ish)

Strowman and Miz are just two examples - the 2 main heels on the show - both of which get pretty decent crowd receptions

Elias is a curious character to me. I saw huge potential in him while he wasn in NXT but he didn't do much there, and this run in the main roster is strange too, but I still think he's got a lot of potential. I think, like Heel suggests, that as long as he's getting a good reaction he's fine. Saying it's a matter of heel or baby that he's getting over is a bit moot.

However if you look at Miz and Strowman each guy is over in a different way. Just like one of Miz's old shirts used to say "Haters love me". Miz is a heel people love to boo. A bit ineffectual as a babyface but as a heel he is one of the best talkers in WWE history.

Strowman on the other hand is purely over as a babyface  despite whether he gets booked heel or baby.

His run on the main roster has already far exceeded expectations anyone had when he got called up based purely on how "under the radar" (for want of a better term) his run in NXT was

I like the gimmick he has going on but i think he needs a higher level feud than Titus Worldwide for him to get over properly

I think Titus Worldwide is a good start for him, actually. I like his gimmick too, but I agree it's a bit er... discombobulated. heheh. It doesn't really make a huge amount of sense, but when you look at the guy it's like Randy Savage and Seth Rollins had a baby, and made what looks like the most quintessential looking wrestler ever. He's a damned good worker, and he's coming into his own on the mic too. He just needs some kind of breakout moment, and I'm not sure he'll ever get that.

Elias has been one of the few that has flourished on the main roster compared to his NXT run. They've found something that works on the main roster at the moment, so as long as it stays in the lower reaches for now it's fine by me.

It makes perfect sense. The job of a heel isn't to have marks saying your catchphrase along with you, it's to be booed and hated so by that he's not doing his role properly.

It's like when they stopped Estrada saying what his name was when managing Umaga, so I am surprised Paul Heyman gets away with it.

He should be smashing paper thin prop guitars over heads like Jeff Jarrett used to do.

Name on top heel in the company now that gets massive boos?

Kevin Owens, Strowman, Miz, Lesnar, Wyatt are all top heels yet not one of them get massive heat - are they all doing their job wrong too? no, of course they aren't - it doesn't matter what a wrestler does - you can not make the crowd respond to you in a certain way - they will always respond to you however they see fit

Alot of fans prefer heel type characters so will always cheer for them

so as per my previous statement - your point makes no sense - especially in todays era of wrestling

Miz used to get legit heel heat... but then fans kinda wised up to his game and now they seem to really like him.

Triple H and Stephanie are about the only top heels that can still do it, but they're both part timers on TV and both in special positions.
