PG? Oh come on, with Heyman in power, you can expect that rating to sky rocket to M or something.

And thus is the reason you will never see Paul Heyman in the WWE again plus the fact that his writing would blow anything Stephanie McMahon does out of the water.

WWECW was a decent brand during the brief time when Heyman was running the creative process, Smackdown was also at its best when Heyman was doing the booking.

Heyman has a brilliant creative mind, unfortunately his vision is very different from Vince Mcmahon's, they fell out after the December to Dismember ppv, Heyman wanted the show booked in a way that the fans would enjoy, but Vince disagreed and tore Heymans plans apart and we got one of the worst ppv's in the history of wrestling.

Vince was to stubborn to admit he fucked up so Paul Heyman was removed from tv and left WWE not long after, i dont see him working for WWE again anytime soon.
Shame because unlike the Mcmahon's he knows what the fans want.

Too right fletch!
To put it simply Heyman = Real ECW
I don't accept the new product at all as being ecw, I have thought Vince should of changed the name of that show a long time ago.

I think he should change the name too.  There is nothing "extreme" about this version of ECW.

Yeah i'll go along with that, the brand has absolutely nothing in common with the original ECW, WWE have phased out everything from the hardcore matches, to the edgier style, to the run down looking arenas with no pyro's or flashing lights to all the ECW originals except for Dreamer.

I dont have a problem with WWE having a third brand that acts pretty much as a platform for talent to be showcased and to learn the ropes before being upgraded to Raw or SD, but i do think calling it ECW is a bit of a kick in the teeth for all the fans of the original.
True ECW fans rejected the brand a long time ago, WWE stopped booking shows in pro-ECW arena's purely because the rowdy audiences pretty much ran riot with the WWE talent because they hated the WWE's version of ECW.

WWE should leave the memory of ECW alone and call the brand something else.

Vince is just dragging the name through the mud COZ HE CAN.
HE COULD change the name ,all us REAL ECW fans wish he would.
But HE WON'T!
They could call the 3rd show all sorts of things that make it better ,but THEY WOn't!

Amen brother. The day Dreamer leaves ECW is the day that the Extreme ECW can be laid to rest, because he is the one remaining link between the ECW of ole' and today's ECW.

Once Tommy Dreamer does retire, WWE should rename ECW into "Entertainment Championship Wrestling" cross out the "Extreme" to it because really the only thing that remotely resembles the old ECW is none other than Tommy Dreamer and once he goes, really there is no ECW in the so-called ECW.

Thats not a bad idea at all. Though I think we'd all prefer if they changed all together, but I think what badguy said is a lot more likely: Vince mcmahon would probably LOVE it.LOL
