I have hopes that Vincent will be back eventually once he's done this UK movie he left to do. They have to have him back for when his kid is born surely.....

Don't like the best mate of Mick. He comes across as weird and creepy like their is more to his character than just paedo hunting.

Some great comedy this past week with Masood and the young bit of fluff he fancied LOL Wouldn't mind her being brought back as a permanent fixture.

Yeah Eastenders aren’t shy about killing characters off so the fact they’ve kept him alive(so far) suggests both sides may be open to a return for Vincent. They’ve also kept the character prominently featured off screen in the Kim storyline. Maybe Richard Blackwood just wanted to do the movie and have a break from the Eastenders schedule?

I agree about Micks mate, creepy weird guy who you wouldn’t place as Micks best pal.

Masood has always been good with the comedy, I was gutted when they axed his brother AJ from the show after only a short run as the two of them were a entertaining duo. Masood is far better now without the irritating Zainab though.

The stabbing storyline seems to have been based on a gang related knife killing that happened in Gillingham last year, the teens responsible for killing a 17 year old lad were sentenced last week, a stolen bike was said to be motive for what was a revenge attack.

I think of how lucky the lass who plays Bernadette is to do scenes with Ted and Patrick.

Christopher Timothy and Rudolph Walker are legends of the business from decades in a number of successful shows.

To do so many scenes with them as a TV newbie must be a dream come true.

Definitely good for a young actress to work with two veterans of the tv world. At this point though I think Timothy and Walker’s best acting days are behind them and Eastenders is a easy way to pad out their pensions.

It’s funny that these days Gillian Taylforth playing Kathy Beale doesn’t look anywhere near old enough to be Ian’s Mum, if anything they look like brother and sister and could easily pass for the same age. Not sure how old Kathy was supposed to be when she gave birth to Ian but even if she was 20 that would put the character at around 70 now.

Not sure if the Aidan McGuire character is finished or if there are plans for him to come back. Eastenders tend to only bring villains in for short runs like Willmot-Brown and his family and then McGuire.

As much as doing scenes with Tilly Keeper would appeal as probably the only attractive woman on the show, working with older actors would appeal just as much. I do like her friendship with Tiffany how looks and personality they are totally different in every way, but click and have a strong friendship.

Gillian Taylforth I will remember her more for her Footballers Wives sex scenes and her run in with the law due to a sexual incident LOL

Rumour as it Jane will be back soon to ignite her fued with Mel from all those years ago.

I enjoyed Footballers Wives, was gutted when that ended.
After a bit of research Kathy Beale is supposed to be 67 she had Ian at 18 so he is supposed to be 49-50. She’s holding up well for a near 70 year old.

Never really cared for Jane, not excited about her coming back.

Alfie seems to have vanished after his big return. Was his single episode of scenes it?? His return was criticised for its timing as it stole focus from the Shakky stabbing storyline which was running during the same episodes.

Carmel spoilt the funeral storyline. Bonny Langford couldn't even produce tears when she was talking to Denise, even though her character was crying.

The stupidity of it all that she wanted to ban everyone but herself for it, made it hard to care for her because that was ridiculous.

I did like having involved those affected by knife crime for real. That was a sweet touch and a great way to make history. As was listing all the knife crime victims when the end credits went up.

On the whole though I think Bonnie Langford has done a good job through this storyline of playing a Mother torn apart by grief after losing her youngest son.

The whole banning everyone from Shakki’s funeral thing didn’t make a lot of sense I agree but I think it was portrayed as Carmel being completely irrational due to how devestated she was.

The knife crime victim stuff was very powerful and a nice tribute, Eastenders did a good job here of raising awareness to this very real and awful problem that exists in today’s society.

We will have to wait until next spring time for her episodes but I aren't too happy with the new producer who's known for storylines in other soaps that are so dark (male rape, teen sex trade for two examples) it makes Eastenders look a jolly nice place to live.

It's pretty boring at the moment. Not interested in Honey dating another guy, Sharon cheating on Phil or the long drawn out knife crime story. Sick of Stuart too with his Carter story.

Not a fan of Ruby Allen being back. Her veneers are distracting too. One of the few good aspects is Dr Legg being back for some nostalgia.
