From Jim Ross website.........

Quote Will we ever see a Rock vs. Cena match? My guess would be "highly unlikely". Rock is a movie star and isn’t likely to ever wrestle again as he has made a career change. Do you blame him? I sure as hell don’t. For those fans that damn the Rock for becoming successful in another career, I am puzzled by that logic. Rock is still a fan and always will be and him returning to the ring or not doesn’t lessen his successes or his passion for the business that is in his blood. I would like to see the match between these two entertaining individuals, nonetheless.

If The Rock ever did come back there's no doubt that WWE would want his one and only match to be against golden boy Cena. It would be where the money is and the promos would be awesome to listen to. That said I don't know if The Rock would want that match for himself. I don't see him facing HBK at last because he hates him, but maybe he wants one last match against HHH or Undertaker. He could even want to put someone over by facing Carlito, Punk, Kennedy or someone else of that nature.

Quote Jim Ross website:

I respect your opinion, but I personally know Rock, communicate with him, and talk wrestling with him, among other things, on a regular basis. He has not “turned his back on his fans” but Rock’s passion for wrestling and him making movies for a living are two different things. He earned a unique opportunity to earn fabulous money as a movie star and he took it just as ANY wrestler I have ever known, past or present, would have done. If I ever step away from wrestling some day to focus on our ever growing Bar-B-Q business, will I be looked as as a “traitor” and for “turning my back on my fans”? I also feel that the fans that put Rock “on the map” as you say enjoy going to his movies which provide entertainment in another area. You are dead wrong about the Rock feeling that he is too good for wrestling fans as I know conclusively that not to be accurate.
well thats good old j.r. sticking up for his friends and job again. i personally would love the rock to come back, but he would need to go back into training again first, cause i much prefered him as a wrestler. i mean dont get me wrong, i loved him in welcome to the jungle/the rundown and in walking tall. also in doom. but his latest movies just suck ass, so unless he goes back to doing awesome films like the first few, then the rock will just start to suck for me.
Qouth the draven, nevermore.

JR says he doesn't like repeating himself on matters he's already addressed and yet he once more mentions a topic he's brought up many times before. It's sad so many fans seem to have genuinely turned their backs on The Rock. If they were true fans they would be happy for him in anything he does. He simply didn't want to be thought of as one dimensional and the lifestyle many of his peers live could have made him want out even more. I know that if Rock was to appear on screen once more I would still mark out.

Well, maybe the fans feel like he turned their backs on them. We don't get to see him in action anymore. We don't get to hear him talk about laying the SMACKETH DOWN ON ANY CANDY ASS JABRONI THAT DARES STEP INTO THE RING WITH THE PEOPLE'S CHAMPION! Sure, I'm happy he's found something that he can do without busting his butt 6 days a week. Then again, some of his movies haven't exactly been what some might call good. If he's going to slum it he may as well be wrestling, too. I do hope he's happy being a hollywood playboy. It won't be long before he's on that bachelor list thing and dating a bunch of Hollywood starlets.

From Jim Ross website.........

Quote I am not 100% certain why HBK never wrestled the Rock but that is definitely one match that even if I were out of the business I would buy a ticket or a PPV to see. My sense of why these two future Hall of Famers did not wrestle was simply timing issues, if I had to give one reason.

Timing issues? Don't make me laugh lol. It was because in them days Shawn use to lose his smile and treated Rock like shit as the new kid. If Rock ever came back for one more match, I don't think HBK would be in the top ten or even twenty choices for an opponent. The Rock doesn't give me the impression as someone who will back down on his beliefs like Hogan would for example for one more payday. Look at how long it took The Rock to make his mark on the industry and leave compared to other legends.

From Jim Ross website..........

Quote Regarding the Rock, let’s clarify this one once and for all. The Rock has moved on from wrestling. He is and always will be a fan to a degree because he is a proud, third generation superstar, but he is now a movie star. Moving on for anyone is not a sin and for those that feel that it is please make your comments on that subject elsewhere. To think that Rock has done anything wrong by improving the quality of life, as he sees it, is down right ignorant. There will be no future Rock matches. Can that point be made any clearer??

Why do fans seem to hate him so much for leaving wrestling? Anybody would think people don't change jobs at some point in their life. Now more than ever he's got to be chuckling that he's not connected to the business at such a low point. Last weekend he got 9/10 NFL predictions right. The guy could make people serious money at that game haha. He has to be in the hall of fame one day for all the great stuff he did in his short time in the business full time.

Quote Jim Ross Website: If that is your real name, the Rock simply changed professions which, last I looked, aren't illegal or immoral. Your view of the Rock's movie skills are your opinion, which you have a right to express. I think Rock loves making films better than the constant travel and physical toll wrestling takes on one's body and personal life. Considering I communicate with Rock on a somewhat regular basis and you most likely don't, I can conclusively tell you Rock has the wrestling business in his blood, but he has simply moved on to other career opportunities. Why is that so wrong? When I was younger and if I had the chance to work in football full time I would have most likely left wrestling to follow that particular path. I guess that makes me the scourge of the earth doesn't it?
people are still whining? yes, the rock was great in wrestling and yes after the first few films he done (which he was great in by the way) like scorpion king, walking tall, welcome to the jungle/the rundown. he has done two shitty football films and not much, if anything else. but does that mean he should charge back into wrestling and potencially come back different which will give all these crybabies something else to whin about? i think he should try and get another action role and do more films like that then i will start liking his movie career more, but i am not crying about it. gez.

I heard the Rock will stop using 'the Rock' and simply be Dwayne Johnson. Personally, I think it's a big mistake. His real name is just so........not tough. The ROCK puts buts in seats. Dwayne Johnson sounds like a candyass jabroni.

Don't forget Doom ya jabroni I just saw an ad about The Game Plan with The Rock on it at my place.

I always thought that Dusty Rhodes was good at doing promos as well.

"Aww Boogs it has been so long without you.

How are you doing my love.

You have got to know I love you.

You were so supportive of me and stood right there with me.
