Delighted for him to win the Royal Rumble match and finally get to do his best work which was his TNA debut babyface work when he was more himself and less a stereotypical moody Scot.

This is how he should have been booked during his first run and it shouldn't have taken him leaving to pay his dues before returning, for this to happen.

We could well be looking at the first ever British world champion.

Agreed. I didn't mind him as a heel but it did seem to be a very stereotypical snarling foreign heel in a lot of ways, he seems more natural and comfortable as a face and his look and style fit the role better.

Would be great for Drew to become the first ever British World Champion and I can see it happening. He is one of my favourites on the current roster as I enjoy his hard hitting power style and athleticism and hes a entertaining charismatic guy on the mic.

For the last several years, WWE has been trying their damnest to build up Roman Reigns as a badass babyface. But it just hasn't clicked. Finally somebody has realized that Drew is that guy.  He's super-comfortable in that role in a way that Roman just isn't.

Nearly a decade ago Drew was declared the Chosen One. But now he feels like it. Hopefully, WWE doesn't screw this up.

The main difference - you can see Drew is passionate about what hes doing, he really wants this, I'm not sure the same can be said of Roman, he's a guy that fell into this line of work and his look and family heritage opened a lot of doors for him, I'm sure he enjoys his work and is grateful for the life it's afforded him but I just don't think he's got that same passion for his craft that a Drew McIntyre has, I mean I can easily see Roman using his wrestling career as a fast track to Hollywood and once he gets decent movie roles coming his way he'll be gone in a flash. You also never see him take to social media like others do to say their piece, even when fans were booing him out of the building he still seemed pretty indifferent.

Point being I think Drew is definitely the guy who should be pushed above Roman, he has the superhuman look, he's charismatic and a very good promo, he can work main event level matches, he ticks all the boxes and as I've said here he really wants it and will go above and beyond to be the top guy.

I'm a huge fan of Drew but recently i thought he was starting to become a bit too - babyface ish, sort of like John Cena levels.

This week though, Cocky, arrogant Drew returned in the segment with MVP and it was a great watch - i do think though to make him that bit more edgy, seem that bit more dangerous - he needs to start doing some beatdowns of people without the mic work to accompany it.

He needs to be focused and fully ready for Brock and fully ready for the big stage - he comes across still that little bit too naive and as MVP said - there will be people who think hes not ready yet for the main title.

Yes there do appear to be signs that Drew is becoming watered down into the Cena mold, WWE need to avoid this, he does need to evolve from being the grumpy scowling heel into a more fan friendly character and I feel they've mostly done a good job of that, but he does need to remain a little edgy and have a darker side to him.

On the whole though this is a improvement for Drew and he appears more natural as a face than he did as a heel. Unlike Roman Reigns he does seem to have a naturally likeable quality to him which makes you want to cheer him, with Reigns it all seems a bit forced.

I enjoyed the VIP lounge segment, this is the kind of Drew McIntyre we want to see.

I've enjoyed Drew's promo work these past couple of weeks, he appears natural and at ease in a babyface role and looks like he's enjoying himself, in some ways he's everything John Cena should have been, his promo material can be a little cringey at times but Drew also has a bit of a dark edge to his character and comes across as cool and likeable.

He's good at working with the empty arena environment too which is not something all the talent in WWE have adjusted to as yet.

Drew is also dominant and convincing in the ring, he comes across like a top guy, I hope he leaps over Roman and becomes the company flag bearer as he deserves it more.

He's got to be popular right now. He's done so well to try and make it work without an audience.

He has earned the right to hold the title for a very long time so he can have many title defences when the crowds return.

The only other option for me would be he drops the title but wins it back at the first PPV back that's got a audience.

Drew has been great in the empty arenas so makes you wonder what he can now do in front of a live crowd.

He is definitely the breakout star of 2020 and will forever be remembered as the guy that was able to shine despite the difficult environment with no fans and he was cruelly robbed of his big Wrestlemania moment in front of a huge crowd but he has still gone above and beyond with his performances.

I would say Drew has lept over Roman Reigns as the company flag bearer, he's got more passion for the business and he is much better and putting quality matches and promos together, his promos are a nice blend of talking tough and appealing to a wide demographic of fans.

Wade Keller recently touted Drew McIntyre and Matt Riddle as the next two big stars in WWE, hard to disagree with that.

That was a good way to get him on the broadcast and to explain why he wasn't there.

It's the first time as far as I am aware that the company have allowed Covid to be mentioned by name.

I can't imagine Trump is happy that his long term mate has got the champion of his company to tell people to wear masks LOL
