I wonder if that's the route they're gonna go though? Given the fact that Dean Ambrose has turned heel, and that Rollins vs Ambrose has been done to exhaustion already, I would expect to see Ambrose in the title picture ASAP, with Rollins focusing on defending his IC title.

I'd be happy with a McIntyre rumble win, if I'm honest, leading to a McIntyre vs Lesnar feud at Wrestlemania. It's consistent with the Ziggler/McIntyre reasoning that Lesnar would be their ideal nemesis and the promos write themselves in that regard.

I wouldn't put Ambrose anywhere near a top title.

Agreed. The smart booking would be to have McIntyre continue as he is being dominant and tearing a path through some top talents on Raw, have him win the Royal Rumble then that’s when they could slowly turn him face, like I said before show vignettes of him training like a beast and sit down interviews where he can discuss his past mistakes and how he’s now back better than ever.
Hopefully all that will get the fans on board and he’ll be really over by the time Wrestlemania rolls around.

Mctinyre doesn't need to change much he just needs to start taking out the heels instead of the faces he's a fierce competitor and I have no doubt that he is going to do well as a top guy on Raw or even Smackdown.

I would love to see either him or Brawn Strownman tear through Lesnar and have a solid year title reign before someone else is ready for the spot.

Great promo work from McIntyre on Raw this week proving again that he’s a huge star in the making, he’s still not quite getting main-event level fan reactions but it’s improving every time he gets some decent air-time.

I think the only stumbling block I can see at the moment in McIntyre’s act is that he just doesn’t have any particulalrly likeable qualities, his whole persona screams heel which is only worsened by his strong Scottish accent which won’t endear him to American fans. This could change of course and his tough dominant ring style should win him the fans over.

His motivations are very face in today's climate. He's essentially saying "my colleagues aren't working hard enough so I will work extra hard." Fans love that. McIntyre is the 3 Is all over.

Drew would really benefit from the Rumble win and no one could question it and say its a swerve because he has been booked fantastically since he returned to the main roster.

For old times sake id like Almas and Drew to be the final two and i guess Drew pick up the win as part retribution for the NXT title match

Quote Drew McIntyre comes out to the ring and gets on the mic. He says actions speak louder than words, and shows u footage of him beating on Roman Reigns last week. Drew says Roman isn't the same Big Dog he used to be, and the Shield is no more because of him. Drew says this is his yard now, and he says "Joe" aka Roman Reigns is now sitting at home on his couch because of Drew. Drew swears that if Reigns faces him again, then what he did last week will be nothing in comparison. Drew says Reigns might have beat Leukemia, but he won't beat Drew. Rollins appears on the big screen, and says that's why he did what he did earlier, then we go to a replay of Rollins beating Drew with the chair. Rollins says that was for his brothers, but tonight is for him. Rollins comes out and Drew meets him on the ramp. They start trading punches on the ramp until agents and referees pull them apart. Rollins runs into the ring and tells him it's go time.

- Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre: Back from the commercial break, Drew is in control of this on early on, and he tries to keep Rollins grounded. They fight out to ringside and Rollins looks for a moonsault off the ring steps, but Drew swats Rollins out of mid-air. Drew continues the offense and grabs a steel chair at ringside. Before he can use the chair, Rollins superkicks Drew in the face. Rollins hits two suicide dives on Drew at ringside, then back in the ring Rollins hits the Sling Blade on Drew. Rollins follows up with a superkick for a two count. They fight into the corner, and Rollins hits a superplex into a Falcon Arrow. Brock Lesnar's music hits, and Brock and Paul Heyman come out to the stage to distract. The distraction leads to Drew hitting the Claymore kick on Rollins for the three count.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

 - Brock and Heyman laugh and head to the back as RAW goes off the air.

How much better is Drew on his own rather than as part of the Three Man Bland?

He's looked a monster these past few weeks in taking out all three members of The Shield.

Every word of his personal promo you bought in to and he's got to be the first contender post Mania for the title when Rollins wins it.

Does seem like a return to form for Drew, once again being booked as the dominant monster heel that he was prior to being part of the senseless three man group with Lashley and Corbin.

My only concern at this point is that he is being built back up to be fed to Roman at Wrestlemania. I have no problem with Drew and Roman trading wins in a series of matches through a feud as both are top guys in the company, but I don't want to see Reigns emerge the clear victor as that wont do anything to establish Drew as a top player and it will probably only be downhill for him after that.
