I liked the segment, people complaining about bad taste need to stop being oversensitive, heels need to do stuff like that for shock value and to get heat. Ziggler did a good job of being heelish and Lawler as the home town hero was the right choice to be the victim.

I do agree though that Dolph needs to chalk up some wins to be taken seriously, it's all very well doing great promo work and being involved in   a decent segment but he needs to win matches.

the real issue is the timing.

it's Rumble time, so where is he going to get the wins he needs for a good while? unless the plan is for him to win the big one, which I quite honestly can't see, and his appearances on SDL are going to be limited to extended promos to build his heel persona.

the match against Kalisto was good, and i'm really glad he's not returning to his showoff persona, but I again feel a feud with Crews is ultimately going to be used to put over the face, and Ziggler eating the losses, whereas he should be injecting himself into the IC title picture, wprking off his recent feud with Miz and Ambrose being over as a face champion.

If they have him in the EC and have him last till the last 3 from starting in the ring it could help but best bet would be to have him win against Ambrose, and have him as IC champ heading into mania that way both Ambrose and Ziggler get the biggest stage of the year and they would put on a 5 star match. It won't happen but it would help both Ziggler and Ambrose, Ziggler retains at WM then he is healing his recent form, Ziggler loses but puts on a 5 star match he has a legit shout for a push

One thing I don't like from this weeks SD is the old trying to rip the mask off a luchador, I know it's there to draw heat and to distract the opponent but let the heels do something else please.

I liked it. Heel Ziggler is now just like his Twitter handle, which is how it should be.

I'd not be against building heat some more by having some HOF guys brought in for him to take out like he did Lawler.

It's a shame he's not in the main event of Elimination Chamber.

I quite enjoyed his segment this week. Seems his new gimmick is a arrogant heel who mocks gimmicks and characters and puts over his own in ring ability and criticises the fans for not appreciating him. I've thought for a long time Dolph would be well suited as a edgy heel who pushes kayfabe boundaries.

Just hope he finally gets the push he deserves and maybe a proper title run.

From what I understand this is just to set up a feud between him and Bobby Roode. Roode will win Ziggler will fade away until his contract expires in a few months.

So once again Ziggler is fed to a newcomer. Such a waste of his talent.

Owens and Mahal are the only real standout heels on Smackdown so there is room for another at the top.

He's boring me and for a heel he needs to do more than impersonations which get face reactions.

Surprised he piss took Randy Savage last week and Ultimate Warrior this. Got to think his wife passed it off as OK first.

Get the guy in a fued and back wrestling in the ring.

I attended last night's SmackDown house show here in Honolulu, in which Dolph's latest entrance impersonation was Lesnar. He came out, did the bounce, even nailed the jump onto the apron. And from there, said that didn't work out too well and was gonna try something else.

And then, the real Lesnar came out. I'd say it's noteworthy to add that he had neither the title nor Heyman with him. And pretty much every wrestling fan already knows what happened next. Couple of clotheslines, suplex, suplex, suplex, F5.

Very entertaining and wish they could do this on TV.
