Nah, Ziggler is Zack Ryder. People will pop like mad for him when he's "being held down" or whatever, but as soon as he actually gets a push up the card, nobody gives a shit. Cash in aside, even his WHC reign was pretty average as far as crowd reaction.

I can't really criticise the two World Heavyweight Championship's reigns that Doplh technically has to his name. The first one was a 10 minute deal were he got awarded the belt and Edge quickly won it back. The next one was 3 years later were he got legit injured a couple weeks after cashing in the night after Mania 29, missed what was suppose to be his first title defense at Extreme Rules and comes back a month later to drop the title to Del Rio in the double-turn at Payback 2013.

To me, Ziggler hasn't had a lengthy and uninterrupted title run for me to fully criticise him as a legit Heavyweight Champ. Once that happens, and one day it probably will, then my judgement can be passed. However, until now, I can't really say much about whether or not how well he'd do as World Champion. Would I like to see it? Of course.

Quote From Jim Ross Website

Nice to see WWE providing Dolph Ziggler a break and continued, positive, TV exposure. They fans have been patient with this matter for a long time but have loyal to DZ.

It was a shame the biggest moment of his career & the 2nd biggest moment of Survivor Series had to be shared by Cena coming out to hug him.

It reminded me very much of when Hogan had to drop the title to Ultimate Warrior but still went and stole the spotlight.

Now to make matters worse Cena was around him on Raw. Let Dolph enjoy his time on his own.

I Agree let Dolph have a big win One on One and let him bask in the Glory

He's had nothing but credit and attention for the full SS buildup and he was the star man of the SS main event

Cents coming out and being associated with Ziggler isn't going to hurt - it's will help Ziggler win over more fans (fans that follow Cena) and he might shift extra merch which isn't a bad thing neither

His in ring skills are far superior to Cena and that's what the current dolph fans appreciate

He just needs to push on and solidify main event status and being "buddies" with the face of the company can only help IMO

He's a great in ring talent and his selling ability is the best in the business but as a babyface for me Dolph Ziggler is still lacking something, he's just not edgy enough, I preferred him as the #heel showoff Ziggler.
One thing is for sure he will not leapfrog Cena as the top guy so I wonder if this is all building to a heel turn anyway, I wouldn't be against that, re-establish him as a top guy then have him turn heel and maybe get a Wrestlemania match with Cena, if Ziggler went over Cena clean at Wrestlemania that would be huge for him, wouldn't even matter if he had to job to Cena in re-matches.
I also like the previously talked about idea of Ric Flair managing Dolph.

I also liked him better when he was the Showoff Tweener guy. He had more range and he was more entertaining even coming down to the ring

Everyone is better as a #Heel - it's easier to portray and easier to connect with the fans IMO

Can't think of anyone who's more entertaining as a face than a heel

Austin and Savage jump to mind. Also Ryback. Mr. Perfect. I guess it goes without saying that Warrior was one such guy, too, same goes for Sting. I like Taker best as a face too. Definitely Daniel Bryan.

There's people out there, not nearly so many as are good heels, but still.
