Great return. Bulked up, got rid of the shit hair, not walking around like a hyper bastard as much and was a silent attacker.

They need to stop calling him Lunatic Fringe when he's freshened up his whole look and doesn't have a fringe now.

Not sure why Renee was totally silent from the moment he showed up, to the moment the show ended. I guess Vince told her to be.

Yes Dean looked totally jacked up and was a great pop for him. Now instead of the shield running over people and being a terror it will be , when and which one will turn on the other. Will be a good one either way but glad to see him back in action.

A tougher more serious look, good because he needed to change things up a bit.

I think we could see a Ambrose heel turn, it’s been rumoured for a while and it’ll be good for him to go in a new direction and distance himself from the Shield.

Never been a big fan of his wild and crazy lunatic fringe character, Ambrose is a charismatic talented guy and I think there’s more depth to his character and that can possibly be explored more if he turns heel and gets darker.

First match back and he looked great. He’s bulked up his physique and has added a lot of power offence to his arsenal.

He seemed much more serious in the ring rather than the wild and crazy Ambrose of old, he was all business rather than doing over the top stuff.

People are still predicting a heel turn based on his new look and attitude but I think he could work equally well as a babyface, I’d like to see Ambrose go heel though purely because he hasn’t had a proper heel run yet and from what I’ve heard about his pre-WWE and developmental days it’s a role he’s very comfortable in.

I think it'd be ideal if all 3 shield members turned heel together. Probably a lot to ask, but to see them turn heel, would be fantastic. Especially now that there are rumors circling that the Wyatt family is about to get reformed. It'd be a blast to see Shield vs New Day. It almost seems amazing to me that those two factions have never had a feud together. Throw in the fact that they also have Sanity to feud with and the Undisputed Era that's going to debut sooner or later, there's a lot for them to do.

Quote Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler: Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre are both at ringside for this singles match. Ambrose starts off strong and lays into Ziggler with punches and chops before taking him down in a side headlock. Ziggler looks for a hip toss, but Dean blocks it and slams Ziggler down. Dean runs the ropes but Drew grabs his leg from ringside. Rollins runs around to hold back Ambrose and deal with McIntyre. The distraction leads to Ziggler dropkicking Ambrose from the apron down to the ringside floor. Back in the ring, Ziggler applies a sleeper to Ambrose until Ambrose finally breaks free. Ambrose comes back with a knee to the midsection and hen stomps a mud hole in Dolph in the corner. Ziggler comes back with a big boot and then looks for a Zig Zag, but Ambrose dodges it and hits a fallaway slam. Ziggler drops Ambrose neck-first across the top rope and then looks for a superkick, but Ambrose blocks it. Ziggler sends Ambrose outside, and then Drew and Seth get in each other's faces. Seth and Drew start brawling on the floor now until Ziggler runs over and cheap-shots Rollins. They double-team Rollins at ringside until Ambrose comes from behind and drops McIntyre and Ziggler. Back in the ring, Ambrose knocks Drew off the apron and looks for the Dirty Deeds on Ziggler, but Ziggler escapes. Ziggler looks for a superkick but Dean blocks it, as Rollins runs through the ring for a suicide dive on McIntyre at ringside. Ziggler looks for a DDT on Ambrose, but Ambrose blocks that too and hits the Dirty Deeds for the three count.

Winner: Dean Ambrose

- Ambrose and Rollins celebrate on the ramp while Drew and Dolph recover in the ring.

Ambrose has been awesome since returning. His new hair, bigger muscles, less talking and slight tweak in moveset all works for him.

It all adds to his character that he's not on any social media either. Keep him a man of few words and all mysterious.

The only negative is STOP REFERING TO HIM ON COMMENTARY AS THE LUNATIC FRINGE!!!!

Well, well, well, it seems the seed has been planted for a turn. The question now, is it Dean or Drew ?

I don't know. It seem to obvious to me. Seems more like a red herring and/or testing of the waters more than a legitimate storyline that will result in either guy turning, at least in the near future. Maybe if this ends up a long-term on-going thing then maybe, but for now it seems like a storyline and not actually connected to an impending heel/face turn for either guy.

Double turn perhaps? It’s pretty clear Drew McIntyre is mapped out for big things and I can see a babyface turn in his very near future, he proved successful as a face in TNA and NXT and with his look and ring style I can see why WWE would want to turn him. Ambrose on the other hand has made his look more heelish and to really stand out amongst the Shield group a turn would really help him.

As things stand I hope they just turn Ambrose, I’m enjoying McIntyre’s heel work and it’s good to see a dominant heel, but Dean I think will really benefit from changing sides.

Yes I agree on both
. It seems to obvious and Drew is bound sooner or later for bigger things. Maybe it will happen when we least expect it or who knows maybe Braun will turn either way this is one of the best story lines on RAW at the moment.
