He was always going to lose the title but did he have to last until the final two?

Hs finally got one over but by having him in the last two it only just happened.

Wouldn't the other 19 guys who know why the match has been purposely made all team up and make Ambrose the first one eliminated?

Having it come down to just Ambrose and Sheamus was an interesting booking decision. I'm guessing it was to provide an easy set-up for future Sheamus-Ambrose match ups. There's still plenty of rumors of Sheamus turning heel, so having him go up against a popular babyface would help him along.

The guy is getting great pops. Much more than I thought he would as a newly solo babyface.

Liking the new ring attire which makes him look different to the rest of the roster and also fits his persona well.

Hopefully fans keep getting behind him as he could definately end up going further with the Pilman gimmick than Brian did himself.

Yeah I'm really liking Ambrose and his persona reminds me of both Brian Pillman and Roddy Piper, like most I thought he was a natural heel but watching him recently I'm now thinking his character can be equally effective possibly more so as a babyface.

I'm not a fan of the jeans and tank-top attire as I like wrestlers to look like wrestlers but as Admin said it does fit his gimmick.

I would say the pops he's getting are better than the reactions Roman Reigns is getting, although the crowd does get really into Reigns when he unleashes his big moves during his matches.

Ambrose is the all around package, which brings the crowd to pop for him upon appearance. Reigns so far is a bit of a powerhouse-spot-monkey, which is why the crowd pops for him once he goes for his moves.

I really dig Ambroses character. It´s a good step in the Moxley direction which he portrayed on the indies but not quite that far yet. It´s like Moxley, a bit toned down with meds.

Heh my wife pointed me to this article, thinking it was a shoot. My first thought was holy crap he just committed career suicide. Then I read the article. heheh It's a work. A very brilliant work considering; it really works well with his character.

I did not realize he was shooting a movie. So I guess now we know he will be off for a while to sell the injury/attack by Rollins last night.

he sold it like a boss, and it surely means that Rollins is being positioned as some sort of hard ass. the curb stomp broke, what, 3 or 4 blocks there, so while he's not going to cash in the briefcase for some time, he must be who they are going to as the heel face of the company full time.

Agreed, they're really building Rollins up strongly and they're doing it at the right pace too. As for Ambrose, yeah didn't know he was set to shoot a movie, so that's two faces out of commission doing movies Angry
