The lost doesn't really matter as he looked strong in defeat as........

1) He carried Sin Cara to his best match in WWE so far.

2) He got distracted by Chavo to cost him the contest.

DB always looks strong if you ask me ..

He was hot and controversial when the whle 'tie incident' happened with Juntin Roberts but since then he has done nothing but get stuck between divas and lose his title.

Can't really say that this past SD was a burial because like u said Admin, he looked strong, and the distraction factors in alway ..

Here's to hoping things change for DB because he is one talented piece of property ..

It was obvious he wasn't going to lose because he's the only one of the two in a storyline with someone.

Bryan gets plenty of airtime but few wins. He's lower on the card on Smackdown than he were on Raw.

If he'd lost to Jobber DiBiase things would have been even worse.

At least they are giving him long matches every week to showcase his talents and making his opponents look good too

Michael Cole could still be right that Bryan will cash in against a beaten down champion, even though he says he's cashing in at Wrestlemania.

D Bryan never said he would add himself into a title match from the start, so he could sneak attack at the end when whatever that match is, is over.

I have doubts creative will even allow him to keep hold of it for eight months anyway.

Yeah I also have my doubts that Bryan will actually feature in a World-Title match at Wrestlemania 28. On one hand it would make sense as the event is already headlined by Cena/Rock so Vince doesnt need a strong main-event from Smackdown in order to secure PPV-buys, but it just seems unlikely to me given that Vince Mcmahon is repulsed by Daniel Bryans look, style and indy background.

I could see Bryan as part of a triple-threat match with two bigger-name stars perhaps, but otherwise I can see this being a ploy so when Bryan cashes in early it comes as a surprise, or WWE have plans for him to drop the brief-case to someone else.

Yes. Vince is clearly repulsed by everything about Daniel Bryan. That's why he signed him, turned his release in to a big angle, had him go over The Miz, have a long US title reign, and now win Money in the Bank.

Maybe Vince likes the guy. Shocking, I know, but normally you don't pay people you despise ludicrous amounts of money.

Spot on Raven, I've been thinking exactly the same thing about Bryan, he's had a near perfect mid-card run in WWE, and winning MITB clearly says management are happy with him. I also think Vince etc have realised that he's not only an asset as a wrestler but also as good face for the company with his clean image.
Winning MITB is a great push and ensures he's going to get lots of TV/mike time and a shot at being an MEer. 8 months until WM is a long time with that case though lol.

It also helps that Bryan has guys like William Regal and Shawn Michaels who backed him up from the start. Two guys that are very respected by their peers and some of the best in terms of being technical wrestlers. I don't personally believe he'll have a fairly long reign but like Raven said, with possible Rock/Cena and Punk/HHH or Austin, you don't need that much of a big World Heavyweight Championship match to sell your card. So they can afford to have Bryan cash it in at Wrestlemania 28.

Typical wwe booking. Have the guy winning at the ppv lose just before said ppv.

Im glad that both guys have moved on to "bigger and better" things with Bryan feuding with Barrett and Rhodes feuding with Ahmed Johnson version 2

That being said it was a another good match between the two
