Anyone else hate it or am I alone in thinking it makes the guy seem even less of a main eventer waiting to happen?

I don't blame the commentary team and Miz taking the piss out of it. Even Lawler the babyface was ripping it.

There is surely something out there that will stand out for him but in a good way to come out to.

I was watching it online Monday night, and the moment that Cole and them made a Star Wars reference, those people went nuts. They began making Star Wars jokes about the song. If people knew anything about Star Wars, they would know that the Imperial March and Ride of the Valkyrie are 2 different songs.

Thats beside the point though. Surely there could have been a better song picked, because it just seems like he is trying to be a Flair knockoff by choosing this particular song. I surely hope that this is just a joke and that he will get a better song soon.

At this point he is supposed to be kinda geeky so I think it fits him.  I am sure in a year they will change it.  When you hear it you will recognize him and that is important

I havent heard it yet, but like The Voice stated if his gimmick is to be a little bit geeky then fair enough, giving him a Star Wars theme will certainly get him over as a geek no matter about that.

        Star Wars, lol.
I think what Bryan was going for was 'Apocalypse Now', you know where the air-cav in Vietnam blows the crap out of a VC village while blasting this music (because it freaks out the commies), so some guys can go surfing - then Duval: "I love the smell of napalm in the morning. It smells like...victory."
This is what I was thinking when I heard it, not Star Wars lol. It's Bryan coming to napalm his opponents. Wink

The theme is designed to make him appear even more geeky, and that is the image WWE are going with for Bryan for now which is fine, but for Bryan to take his game to the next level and get out of the mid-card WWE will need to try and make him more ''cool'' because right now everything about him just screams low-card comedy wrestler.

I really couldn't disagree more.  What's wrong with different and standing out?  Honestly, I think it makes him even more likeable and distinctive than he already is.  How come nobody has mentioned the huge pop he got when he asked Edge if he could keep it down because he was trying to read?  I honestly believe that this is way better than WWE getting some generic rock band to do another shitty song that nobody cares about like most of the music that I hear on WWE programming.  Fucking Nickleback, Canada's worst export since Celine Dion.

Its instantly recognisable, which can only be good.

I'm pretty confident that Danielson will never be a main-eventer in WWE anyway, so 'being held down via theme tune' is a moot point, IMO.

I don't know, I actually can see Bryan possibly be a main eventer, more in the CM Punk mold, where he will be in & out of the main event scene but probably won't ever become World champion. He's got the talent, and a unique look, I just think he needs more work on his character and charisma.
