You say Test Lite, I say Tall Edge.

This is the one match I don't mind having been... er... "poor". Certainly no classic match by any means, the fans crapped all over it, but TBH it got the job done, and it did it well Bryan got the clean win, he beat a big guy, Cass got huge heel heat, and did it proper. The match was what it needed to be, even if it wasn't something I'd really want to watch again, either.

The only thing i didnt like about it was the fact Cass tapped so quickly.

And i wouldnt have even minded that if he had immediately got up and attacked Bryan afterwards but it seemed to take him so long to recover before he started the attack.

I said it in the discussion thread last night - Cass is as close to Ciampa (during the Gargano feud) that WWE have right now and his heat is nuclear - he does an excellent job of capitalising on that.

For me, Cass should have won last night or should have ost by DQ and not in the manner he did because the post match assault wont get everything back hes lost from that match

Cass surprised me with how good his heel work was in the match, his mannerisms his heat seeking was all on point, if he can keep this up I think he'll do just fine in his new role. He carried his end in the ring too, the match was pretty solid between him and Bryan.

Quote  Big Cass only returned to WWE programming following an eight-month injury layoff three weeks ago, but the seven-footer is already in hot water with company officials.

This is according to Pro Wrestling Sheet, who claim Cass went against direct instructions during an in-ring segment last week (May 1st), delivering an unauthorised beatdown to a Daniel Bryan impersonator.

Cass was reportedly told to leave the ring after hitting the performer with a big boot. He asked producers if he could continue the assault beyond the first strike, and went directly to Vince McMahon when told "no," but the Chairman shot him down as well. Instead of following this directive, Cass unleashed a flurry of mounted punches on his miniature representation of Daniel Bryan.

WWE didn't include the punches in the show's photo gallery, and omitted the rest of the beatdown from their YouTube upload

Well thats not really the best way to go about making your return, especially considering Vince is supposed to be pretty high on Big Cass.

I wonder if there will be any repercussions

Daniel Bryan was introduced by Renee Young for an in-ring interview. The live crowd chanted Bryan’s name as Young spoke about his loss to Rusev last week. “Feel that!” Bryan said multiple times regarding the crowd’s chants. Bryan said losing doesn’t feel good and no one likes to lose. He said when he came back he was happy to do what he loves, but now it’s not enough to be back. “I don’t want to just be back, I want to be on top,” he said. “And I know it’s going to be a fight and it’s going to be a climb and I’m going to have to scratch and claw every step of the way, but before all is said and done I will become the WWE Champion.”

Big Cass interrupted Bryan and walked out minus entrance music. Cass walked as he spoke about being Bryan’s first true disappointment since his comeback. Cass said Bryan will keep losing because he will make sure that Bryan never achieves his dreams and aspirations in WWE. Cass said he’s man enough to admit that he lost at WWE Backlash. He said he didn’t tap out because he was in pain, he tapped because he wanted to get right back up and beat the hell out of Bryan again. Cass said Bryan won’t be able to go anywhere in WWE without a seven foot shadow following him around.

Cass boasted about eliminating Bryan from the Greatest Royal Rumble. Cass asked if Bryan is a loser, then did the yes bit. Cass entered the ring and Bryan went right after him. Cass shoved him down, but Bryan got up and kicked Cass’s bad knee. Bryan worked over Cass in the corner and kicked his bad knee repeatedly until two referees came out. Bryan left the ring, then ran over and wrenched Cass’s bad knee around the ring post twice. Cass stood up and Bryan entered the ring and clipped the knee and then applied a heel hook. Cass tapped out while four referees and producer Adam Pearce talked Bryan into releasing the hold…

It's got to have annoyed the live crowd that their favourite guy was seen for so little on Smackdown.

It was nice to see Test Lite made to look a bitch again, to a much smaller guy.

Cass needs to go back to drama school. His promo came across like someone looking for crowd recognition to the points he was stumbling through making.
