Whilst he will be a jobber, I think he will be happy with his position most likely as the number 1 Raw jobber.

TV time is the most important thing so as long as he's seen he won't care what he's doing.

I suspect much of his stuff will be positioned straight after one of the bigger moments of a broadcast so the live crowd can get some light relief.

i wonder when this run of consecutive losses will come to an end

Using WWE logic he'll probably end up pinning strowman or lesnar clean

Quote Finn Balor vs. Curt Hawkins: Booker talks about some famous jobbers in reference to Hawkins, and calls them "good hands." The opening bell sounds and Hawkins starts off strong against Balor. Balor stops Hawkins' momentum with a boot to the face, and he starts turning things around. Hawkins ducks a shot in the corner and rolls up Balor for a two count. He works on Balor some more and rolls him up again for two. Hawkins gets frustrated and Balor drops him and hits a double stomp. Balor follows up with the Slingblade, then dropkicks Hawkins into the corner. Balor goes up top and hits the Coup De Grace for the three count.

Winner: Finn Balor

Everyone backstage will be worried that they will get picked as the guy that finally loses to him LOL

I was surprised Cole was allowed to bring up his past as a former tag team champion, as if to talk him up ever so slightly.

He can talk and has a pretty good gimmick with his old man walking stick. For a jobber he's not bland like a lot.

What is he at now like 160 losses I reckon get him up to 200 losses before having him beat someone like Goldust or R-Truth maybe after that give him a midcard push I think he's earnt that after this losing streak storyline.

He'll beat Roman Reigns when Brock Lesnar distracts him...right? Surely Reigns isn't above that...afterall Trips took the fall for Brooklyn Brawler once.

I don't think Reigns will be too phased by it though he'll get his win back the next week I think and probably a few superman punches to go with it

Quote Matt Hardy vs. Curt Hawkins: "Woken" Matt Hardy comes out to the ring with new entrance music. We see a pre-taped video of Matt announcing his participation in the Royal Rumble this year. The opening bell sounds and Hardy and Hawkins lock up. Hardy bites Hawkins when the ref isn't looking, then works over Hawkings in the corner. Hawkins fights back and goes up top for a cross body, but misses. Matt hits a German suplex into the corner, and repeatedly slams Hawkins head into the corner. Matt follows up with the Twist of Fate for the three count.

Winner: Matt Hardy

I would have made more from them bringing up how Hawkins had been saying he was unbeaten in 2018, simply because he'd not had a match.

They could have got him in a t shirt that says Unbeaten 2018 on it and find ways for him to cut promos for weeks without actually having a match.

It's all ruined now though as his stale booking is continuing, with it still not explained why someone so shit at his job is still in a job.

I actually really like this mini push Hawkins has. Sure he's losing matches but he has a very defined role and character and, in fact, a more detailed storyline than some of the top talent.

Quote Curt Hawkins is in the ring and there is a big taco buffet display at ringside. Hawkins cuts a promo in the ring and talks about free tacos, and he's in the ring with a local enhancement talent.

- Curt Hawkins vs. enhancement talent: Hawkins and the jobber go back and forth in the opening moments until Hawkins hits a big scoop slam. Hawkins follows up with a big lariat, then he calls for him to get to his feet, but Baron Corbin interrupts. Corbin hits the ring and hits the End of Days on the jobber, and the ref calls for the DQ.

Winner via DQ: Enhancement talent

- Hawkins looks traumatized after the match. Hawkins rolls outside after Corbin, and Corbin throws him onto the table of tacos. Corbin flips the table ontop of Hawkins and the crowd boos as Corbin heads backstage.

Only in wrestling could someone be so shit at what they do (0-200) and still have a job LOL

We know Hawkins isn't going to win a match, but I wouldn't have had Corbin come down to cost it him.

E had the chance here to recreate a lesser version of when Barry Horowitz beat Skip.

"We want tacos" could be as over as "Rusev Day" if Hawkins keeps doing it. A while ago Road Dogg came out and said wins and losses don't matter much anymore; surely this is clear evidence of that being the case.
