Knew it

As soon as one starts offering the other a match, then you know its a work.

Real heat would involve threatening to fight some one legit or alot of derogatory comments

Not necessarily. When Booker mentioned the match, I honestly first thought of 2005's proposal to Vince by Macho Man Randy Savage to have another match with Hulk Hogan. The reason Savage wanted that match was to embarrass him and to stiff and stretch him in front of everyone. Vince wisely shot that down, and had that been what happened here, it would be just another case of the same thing in my eyes.

aye but in this instance it was a throwaway comment at the end of an interview - nothing more than generating a bit of publicity

Quote While Corey Graves appeared on Booker T's show to "clear the air" and reveal that they were both just messing around and trying to work the online community, there are suggestions that all is not rosy between the two. Depending on exactly who you want to believe, there appears to be at least some underlying tension between the two from their days doing commentary together and there is even speculation that WWE management told the two to squash this "feud" publicly and sweep it all under the rug, forcing the two to appear together on Booker T's podcast.

I have listened to the full conversation and if there is legit heat between them, they are bloody good actors.

The whole thing still seems like a typical wrestler rib to me, to get themselves some good publicity and kill some bordem.

If it was legit I don't think E would have drawn attention to it with what New Day said last week on Smackdown.
