There’s been a lot of speculation on UFC star Conor McGregor possibly appearing for WWE. It’s been reported that WWE wants a TV appearance out of Conor, perhaps at WrestleMania 33, and Triple H even confirmed the interest after watching Conor at UFC 205 earlier this month.

Conor’s agent, Audie Attar, appeared on ESPN Radio last night and confirmed there is no offer from WWE to Conor. He commented on Conor possibly working with WWE:

“I think it’s all about business, man. If [WWE] is going to come with an offer, we are willing to entertain it. We are here. Have their people call his people — which is me. We can have a conversation.”

Triple H recently spoke with The Telegraph in the UK and commented on a possible appearance in WWE for Conor:

“He could come over, he’s got it all, man – he’s got the personality, the skills, the talk. He’s an entertainer, for sure. What does he walk around at? 180lbs? I have smaller guys now in the WWE. We have 200lb guys who are stars. You don’t need to be 300lbs any more.”

He continued:

“But yeah, he could do just as well as Floyd Mayweather when he fought the Big Show. That really worked. Conor could do it for sure.”

He's a badass at the moment but how would he be allowed under a UFC contract?

Surely he'd have to give up his titles and leave UFC to do it.

The alternative is Vince pays UFC a lot of money to be loaned one of their contracted talents, but even without a match involved it would cost a lot.

I believe UFC kinda owes WWE for their loaning out Brock Lesnar. Popular belief is that Rousey would go to WWE to face Charlotte at WM33, but there's no saying those plans can't be altered.

Quote WWE Superstar and Bellator MMA Heavyweight contender Bobby Lashley recently commented on the talk about former UFC two-division world champion "The Notorious" Conor McGregor coming to WWE.

McGregor teased coming to WWE in a tweet he posted congratulating fellow Irish Superstar, Becky Lynch, following her own "champ-champ" victory in the historic first-ever women's main event at WrestleMania 35.

Josh Gorton of Sky Sports recently caught up with Lashley and asked him whether or not he personally feels McGregor will ever make the jump from the MMA world to the pro wrestling world in WWE.

"I think he wants to [join the WWE]," said Lashley. "He's been talking a lot. Conor is one of those guys that will shoot first and then shake hands later. He did it last year when he tried to call out the wrestlers."

Lashley added, "I think he'll have a good opportunity to come over here and shake things up, run his mouth a little bit and bring some notoriety. I'd like to see him in. It would be cool."

The crossover athlete did, however, point out that if McGregor were to come to WWE, he doesn't feel the Irish fighter is physically big enough to hold a major WWE championship.

"I think he wants to be here," Lashley continued. "If he wants to be here he might have to try and find a role. We're not going to put a big title on him, he's way too small."

I agree. I wouldn't want him as E or Universal champion because even though those belts have had small champions before, it was at least a little believeable due to them being held by guys with many years of wrestling behind them.

I don't doubt he wants to be part of E. He will have seen the success Rousey has been and want a part of it.

I just don't see him agreeing to do a schedule as busy as Ronda did, which should be a cert if he wants to join so much.

Your logic sometimes baffles me adders

You find it more believable that small guys such as AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan are more believable champions because they have wrestling experience

but McGregor a legit MMA fighter and multiple weight champion is not believable.....

Conor would be a more believable champion than most on the whole roster because of his actual fighting ability

The real problem with McGregor would be that he'd likely be uncontrollable on the mic and get WWE into trouble. He'd HAVE to be WWE or champion of the WWE universe if he were to join, and it would likely be a double-edged sword. It'd be great for the fans though.

All due respect having Connor there is different from lesnar or rousey when they were tearing wrestlers apart it was realistic espicially for Ronda but for Connor your gonna tell me that a dude not even 200 pounds is gonna beat the shit out of Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns I don't think so.

At least with the likes of Daniel Brian Kofi Kingston and Rey Mysterio that at least had the moveset to make it believable that they could win matches Connor doesn't and won't.

lol

OK man. Connor would rape Bryan, Kingston, Mysterio, Rollins, Strowman, Big E., you name it. About the only guy that could beat McGregor is Bobby Lashley, and Brock Lesnar… MAYBE. McGregor is faster and younger, while Lesnar is older and slower.

That's complete and utter crap there is a massive difference between a match with rules and a straight up fight you gonna tell me Connor is gonna take down the likes of Roman or Seth in a straight up fight he'll you gonna tell me he could beat up Braun not in a straight up fight when that happens skill matters little it's who can throw that harder punch and I'm talking from first hand expierience

In the UFC sure Connor is one of the best this isn't UFC

Yeah. That's what I'm going to tell you. Mixed Martial Arts beats a simple pro-wrestler every day of the week. We're not talking about someone like Kurt Angle in his prime, or Haku. We're talking about a guy that likes to work out but other than taking pictures and posting them to prove otherwise, has no balls.

McGregor would fuck Seth Rollins up, and you're delusional to think otherwise.

Am I really reading this shit shizzel.

Conor McGregor is a trained MMA fighter who was World Champion at 2 weights.

You are trying to tell me that some guys who are sports entertainers are tougher guys than someone who actually fights for a living.

You really are the most stupid person
