He's burned all his bridges now, slagging off Triple H and the WWE wasn't the wisest move.

As if he wasn't unlikeable enough already, he whines like a little bitch about how his life was so hard and being in the WWE was like doing jail time.

Absolute cretin of a bloke.

Did it occur to you that he wanted to burn those bridges? I dunno about you, but if I really hate working at a place, I have no remorse whatsoever burning my bridges with that place.

Also, we have absolutely no idea if he wasn´t just telling it as it was.

It's been spoke about for years how much of a prick he is. This interview just adds fuel to the fire.

WWE made him a multi millionaire set up for early retirement by making him a star despite his shit tattoos and shit look.

He really should be more grateful. That said he will be back one day. If they can get Bret Hart to return anyone can as shown by many who left (Brock, Booker, Hulk) to come back.

If the Staph Infection thing is true then he has every right to slag the WWE

I get that he's your hero because he doesn't drink and all, but for all his bravado I will bet any one of you he'll be back working for the WWE within a year with his tail between his legs.

Plus for someone who was 'in it for the love of wrestling and not money', he sure did bitch about his pay a lot.

Granted the podcast was funny but probably untrue.

I'll take that bet.

He won't be back if for no other reason than that wwe won't have him. I don't see Punk as full blown lying. I am sure he has his own side of the story and Trips and Vince have their own side, but Punk never looked at Vince like a father figure like Bret did, and Vince never mistreated Brock et all like he did Punk.

No way Punk will go back for as long as Vince is in charge and Trips is in power either. Vince would have to be gone, and Trips apologize profusely and Steph  be the liason, like Linda was with Warrior. That is the only way I see it going down.

To be honest, I don't see what all the Broohah is about. This is old news about the WWF/E. Just another wrestler bitching about money and treatment and not having enough days off either to heal or just rest.

And he is bitching because Davey Boy had a staph infection in his spine, and whilst Bret the dickman Hart shits all over Davey Boy's performance at Summerslam 92 (stating he had to carry him the entire match) according to Davey Boys wife, Diana, Davey Boy had only been out of the Hospital less than a week before that match.

SCSA had a staph infection in his elbow during the King Of The Ring tournament and his match vs Kane in the Main Event, signing himself out of the Hospital the night before. And I've lost count how many "Old School" Wrestlers have bitched in Shoot interviews about not having enough time off and so on, but how they still did the dates.

Punk's only bitching about things NOW because being 7.5 million richer he can afford to. You either do the dates or you don't. Well Punk's decided he doesn't want to do them anymore.  So what? It's not like John Cena ever went away and they have no-one to fall back on

As far as I see it, if you're given the title belt to represent the Company, and earning top money with it, you should expect to do more than the average joe wrestler - expecting leniency because you are the face of the Company is naive to say the least.

Besides he probably hasn't got anything juicy on VKM or Triple H that would warrant an inexplicable return in the future, unlike some that have returned.

Punk saying he won't ever wrestle again will more than likely be untrue - I'm not sure he will return to WWE though - to keep up this "cult hero" thing he has going on he will end up back in ROH

Infact once the CM Punk chants go away (because after this I imagine there will be more than ever in the smark towns) he'll show his face again .... Well either that or do another podcast

I read he was doing a follow up taking fan questions - the website will break again when Colt uploads that

Not listened to the podcast but read through the interview notes. He comes across as very bitter and while I'm sure there is some truth to what he says I also think much of it is exaggerated and there are two sides to all the stories and of course we are only getting Punk's version.
He should be more grateful that WWE made him as rich as he is and he can now enjoy the rest of his life very comfortably with no need to work unless he chooses to, as far as saying his WWE career was a failure well that's the biggest pile of shit I've heard from him yet, he was a main event player and involved in some of the company's biggest angles including his infamous pipe bomb storyline, he achieved all this despite being horribly overrated, he only ever had a five star match when in the ring with a five star talent, his promo skills were nowhere near as great as he would have you believe, personally I felt like nodding off when he was talking a lot of the time, and as for his look, he looks like some scruffy tramp with naff tattoos.

Punk stop bitching and show some appreciation to the company that made you a very rich man and a way bigger star than you ever deserved to be.

I don't see him returning, I think this is a Randy Savage/Bruno Sammartino type falling out, but that's a good thing as I don't want to see him back in WWE again, they have far better talent who are more appreciative of their jobs.

I think he will return to wrestling one day, but it will likely be with TNA because he knows they will give him a open mic to slate his former employers on the air.

Yeah they let him have an open mic which never happens in the business.

He had the longest title reign in years and made millions of dollars as PTP would say.

His failures were all his own fault such as not headlining WM, having a Chris Hero physique, not getting over a faction leader TWICE etc.
