Quote Former WWE star Christopher Nowinski was in attendance at last night’s Ring of Honor show in Boston, MA to meet with company officials on a method of preventing and dealing with concussions suffered by ROH performers. Concussions occur more often in the Ring of Honor due to their more high impact style. The company would like to be more proactive at protecting their wresters’ health. Nowinski is a former WWE star that had his career cut short from suffering multiple concussions. He now studies concussions in sports as he formed the Sports Legacy Institute.

This is good and I think Nowinski could really help out with ROH. Not just with medical stuff, but with storylines and some sort of none wrestling, on screen personality as well. ROH guys put their bodies on the line more than the bigger two companies and yet don't get as much help medically. They are more prone to head injuries with the suicide dives they do. Nowinski knows the signs to look for and any help he can give will be of vast appreciation to the roster.

I don't think that Nowinski is really interested to come back into any kind of storylines. He's more dedicated to help promotions like ROH to prevent head injuries and it's okay for him to dive in this matter 1000%. It's also nice to see a company taking a stand and makin' sure they protect its workers. I applaud both Chris Nowinski and ROH.
