Jericho has experienced a career resurgence this past year, it's the most entertaining he's been since his Attitude Era peak years.

Must admit prior to this stint I'd not really been a fan of his work since he went part-time, just mostly seemed like he was going through the motions for a pay-day, but this past year he's reinvented his character brilliantly and freshened up his stale character. Anyone who can get a clipboard a pen and some paper that over has serious talent. Also ''You just made the list!!'' and the various incarnations of ''drink it in maaaaan'' are some of the best catch phrases ever, Jericho has also been smart in not over-using them to ensure a maximum pop.

I know most expect him to turn face and feud with Kevin Owens going into Wrestlemania but I think he needs to remain heel as going babyface would soften his character and it wouldn't be as effective.

Jericho is already an early contender for best of this year and we all know what happens in real life when Goldberg gets in his face LOL

By the time the list gimmick is over E could release a book full of diary style notes with date, venue, name, reason etc for why every single person is on the list.

It would sell a bucketload and it would be interesting to see who's been put on the list at house shows all over the world.

I thought it was done too early to be honest. I expected them to at least wait until after Fastlane. You can just smell both will get involved in eachothers matches at Fastlane eurgh.

Yep, I'd buy it.
If they release that painting of KO and Jericho, people would probably buy that too.

It was going to come eventually, but didn't think it would have been like this.
First time in a while where Raw has actually made me feel something.

Quote Chris Jericho's contract with WWE expired shortly after WrestleMania this past April but he ended up signing a one-month extension that lasted through until late May. While he did work a three-show tour for WWE over the summer, he's technically been a free agent for the better part of the last six months, which is how he was able to sign to do the NJPW match with Kenny Omega.

-- While some may question what Jericho's relationship with WWE is like after they declined his request to have NXT talent on his cruise next year and of course, his association now with NJPW, the two sides are still said to be on good terms and the expectation is that Jericho will be back in WWE sometime in 2018.

-- It's also possible that Jericho extends his NJPW deal to do a second match, but as of this time, it is said that the deal is only for one match.

Jericho and E aren't stupid. I very much expect him to be back in time for Royal Rumble and with an higher profile than the last time he came back, due to his current level of self promotion.

If you're only going to be around for say a third of the year it's best to make it the first part so you get two of the big four paydays.

No matter how much he enjoys working somewhere else for a change, he's not going to give up the biggest profile raising payday of the year as he's too savvy as a businessman.

Id expect to see Jericho back too and part of me is thinking Omega will sign with the company too and they will continue this feud after the Royal Rumble

Hes excellent at getting up and coming talent over whilst still remaining popular amongst the fan base - which is something that i believe is difficult and not many superstars do it as well as what he does

Honestly as much fun as it is to speculate that Jericho could be jumping ship, I kinda think this is what's going to happen too. He'll go into New Japan, have a killer match, and then return to the WWE at the Royal Rumble with Kenny Omega in tow.
