So it's official. Chris Jericho shared a picture of him at the AEW rally in Jacksonville, as well as a video clip of him signing his AEW contract on his Facebook page a few hours ago.

In the video he shakes hands with Tony Kahn and declares that he is in it for the Long haul.

Interesting interview. It's good to hear he is still in contact with Vince, and that no bridges have been burned.

I just finished watching the Road to Double or Nothing series on YouTube, and I am loving Jericho. I mean, I could criticize and say he isn't any different really from who he was in WWE, but when you're as good as Jericho was during his last run in WWE, why would you change a thing?

He is essentially just wearing different clothes and not using his best taglines.

EDIT:

We talk about how so and so was restricted in WWE, but it's clear Jericho was not badly restricted as he is still the same Jericho everyone knows and loves. So for him, I think he just wanted more creative input on the direction of the shoe and/or the feuds he is in.

If you look at guys like Hogan, who was always spectacularly well portrayed in WWE but kind of hated everywhere else, and not just because he was a heel a lot of the time, it becomes clear that Jericho doesn't really need production or anyone guiding him like many others do.
