BAD ENGLISH WARNING !

What,s behind recent deal with Hulk Hogan and WWE.

Hogan obviously needs money (as always) to support his flamboyant lifestyle, and Dixie has had enaugh  of him paying him to appear on TV and do nothing.

He can,t wrestle anymore, people usually don,t care what is he saying anymore, prayers and vitamines are long gone - so what is left for Hulk Hogan ?

On the other hand, WWE is trying to expand their business where ever possible, since there is million kids who would buy John Cena milk cup for 10$ and the same one without his picture is 99c, and is doing so for decades.

Now they have that film company, whatever the name is, WWE Studios or something, and since their precious stars are not enaugh on TV weekly, they want to put them in movies too.

Since no Hollywood needs any of them, they make their own films, trying to make a little money, but can,t do anything near that good like Rourke,s The Wrestler.

Or can they ?

Is there a Blockbuster that could make hundreds of millions in North America, Western Europe, Japan etc.

Yes, there is and that is the only thing left for them, Terry Bolea,s pension fund called:

- REAL AMERICAN - The Hulk Hogan story.

I have couple of minutes, so I will write a movie script, and I don,t need any help for that since it,s my movie.

Although, I could use some help for CASTING, and I was thinking that former wrestlers would be played by actual nowdays wrestlers, except for Hogan - he should be played by an actor.

Who could play Hogan ? I was thinking about that CHRIS HEMSWORTH guy who played THOR. But can an Australian born actor play Real American ? Who else ?

Ok, let,s do the film.

Scene 1: TAMPA, FL mid 70,s. Thousands of people come to cheer DUSTY RHODES against another villain, this time some guy named SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM. When Graham struts his stuff, young Bollea,s life changes completely. In that moment he decides to look just like that and become professional wrestler.
Now casting:
DUSTY RHODES: I would look no further than his son DUSTIN, who looks like him, talks like him and it would be a nice hommage.
BILLY GRAHAM: I propose HHH. I believe HUNTER would be great Superstar BG and we should put him in the movie anyway since he is bosses son in law.

Scene 2. HIRO MATSUDA breaks young Hogan,s leg. For Hiro role I would take KEIJI MUTO.

Scene 3. Hogan plays guitar in a beach club, when JACK and JERRY BRISCO arrive, and tell him he should try wrestling - actually go back to wrestling. For the role of Brisco Brothers - and don,t forget that we are doing WWE MOVIE, whe need some long haired pretty boys, maybe from NXT, Adrian Neville ? Enzo Amore ? John Morrison would be my pick.

Scene 4. With his career started -  I,m not sure did HOGAN and ANDRE THE GIANT cca 80-81 meet for the first time in AWA or WWWF, but I would like to have the scene where these two meet for the first time and introduce themselves. For the role of ANDRE I would take GIANT SILVA, rather than Big Show since he looks more like Andre, and there is role for Show as himself in WCW in mid 90,s.

Scene 5. Wrestlemania I. Just do the same things as originals, but with new people. Casting:

MR. T. - how about actor CHRIS TUCKER ? Wrestlers ? Maybe Xavier Woods.

Jay Lethal would be better but I would actually put Jay Lethal for a role of Randy Savage. So what he,s black - he could go as "tanned". Macho Man played big role in Hogan,s life and no one could do Savage better than Jay. Back to WM1.

JIMMY SNUKA: no doubt - ROMAN REIGNS. (since he looks more like young Snuka than his son).

RODDY PIPER- his son Colt Toombs does look like his father his age, but here I would go with DANIEL BRYAN. Redhaired and acting crazy. We are doing WWE Movie, don,t forget.

BOB ORTON JR. - RANDY ORTON offcourse. He doesn,t look like his dad but way better, but it,s OK to have the face of the company in such an important film - and who could he play but his father if not Randy.

PAUL ORNDORFF - mmmm..... Maybe Daniel Bryan here, and someone else for Piper. Hard one. Need help.

Scene 6. WM III with Andre, WM 4 and 5 with Savage, WM 6 with ULTIMATE WARRIOR. Nowdays there is so many bodybuilders who could put wig on.

Scene 7. WCW ...... Big Show, Flair, Hall Nash, as themselves.

Scene 8. WM vs. THE ROCK - The Rock offcourse as himself.

Got tired.

I,m gonna do something else.

Over and out.

Dusty Rhodes - Dustin No Contest
Billy Graham - Going on the Beard coloring back in the day Big Poppa Pump could do it. However his acting maybe suspect
Hiro Matsuda - Not knowing much about him I would say Tajiri.
Jack and Jerry Briscoe - John Morrison and maybe Ambrose
Andre - GOnna go with the easy cop out and go with Show with heavy Makeup

Mr T - Hasn't aged a day really so either Keep Mr T or use someone like Coolio
Snuka - Agreed Reigns is the best fit
Roddy Piper - Robbie Carlyle with a wig...Dunno why but I think it would work
Bob Orton - Jason Segel look a bit like him so yeah I'd pick Segel
Paul Orndorff - Y2J
Savage - Xpac...just because of the beard tbh
Ultimate Warrior - Ryan Renolds if he bulks up a bit
WCW - As many old schoolers as you can get from the time
The Rock - Dwayne Johnson

Y'know what?....It's really fucking hot here in Africa. Who knew?....Well me, I have been doing this for almost 5 years

Chris Jericho definitely ! Him and Bryan doing Piper and Orndorff, but still not sure who is who. We would see who would fit better into Piper doing some talking and Orndorff just walk around being angry.

Jason Segel as Ace Orton. Nice, and that,s what I,m talking about. I thought of Ace as small part role, but with Segel in, he could get some more space, maybe some pre-show dressing room talk to Pip/Orn like : everything will be ok, don,t be nervous etc.

Will Sasso as Hogan. I,m sure Sasso would love that and he would go to gym for a year to get in shape for the role. But he already did parody/comedy on Hogan and we are doing serious drama movie. I,m not saying no to Sasso, but let,s keep thinking and maybe we come back to Sasso after all.

Who would do VINCE MCMAHON. I have no idea since Vince is just too normal (ordinary). If I had to say one name I would maybe go with JASON PRIESTLY ?

Walken is always a good choice, but I,m afraid he,s little old, (what is he like 60 ? )

We need someone age cca 45 who can play both 35 and 55 yrs old Vince.

Key point is cca 35 yrs old Vince in 1980 saying to Hogan: One of these days, I will be a boss of my dad,s company and I will make you the biggest star this sport has ever seen.

Hogan responds: Keep on dreaming Junior. I know I will.

VERNE GAGNE ?

So am I the only 1 that finds this extra dumb. I understand Hulk Hogan was a BIG star in wrestling but to do a movie about him is just plain dumb. If you wanted to be invested in a movie watch the Wrestler that was way better than this straight to DVD movie.

Please and thank you. I have had to restrain myself from being the guy to trash this, because OP is Croatian and probably couldn't defend himself and everyone would come down on me for it. But if I'm not the only one then yeah.

I like the idea of a biopic, but having wrestlers playing different wrestlers is moronic, and the actors named previously are terrible matches.

A WWE Studios movie on Hogan with umpteen WWE talents among the cast would be horrible. I really like the idea of a Hogan biopic but I would much prefer to see it as a Hollywood film.
Chris Hemsworth is a good choice to play Hulk if he can pull off the voice and mannerisms, but as for all the other wrestlers that would need to be portrayed producers would have hundreds of bodybuilders and unknown actors to choose from who could do it, no oscar winning acting abilty would be required for these minor roles, it would be more about just having the right look.

To be honest, I would be more interested on a film about the life of Vince McMahon, thats just my opinion though.
