C*4 begins its fifth huge season, by celebrating part one of our fourth anniversary event!
(The second half will take place the following weekend in Montreal - details will be released shortly for that!)

The REMATCH

Main Event
C*4 Champion
"Player Dos" Stupefied
Vs.
Player Uno
C*4 Management will grant Player Uno a rematch for the C*4 Championship on Saturday November 19th. Despite the protest of Stupefied to C*4 management - the shot will be granted based on Uno's near win at "Fighting Back 2011". Uno seemed to have the Championship won, however Stupefied managed to pin "Speedball" Mike Bailey for the win.

We are awaiting comments from both members of the Super Smash Brothers. Both have made it clear that despite being best friends and brothers, they know that only one can be champion....

3 more matches to announce:

First up, a Triple Threat match between the trio formerly known as the “Natural Born Assholes”.

Following their loss to El Generico and the Wolfmun, the faction of Michael Von Payton, Rahim Ali, and Josh Alexander, was forced to disband. After the match, Von Payton attacked and laid out Ali. In the locker room, Alexander and MVP got into a heated shoving match, each blaming each other for the loss.

C*4 management has heard from all three men making, as each were their cases for their importance to the future of the promotion, and how they were held down by the others in the faction. They all wanted the chance to prove that they were the best of the group.

On Nov. 19th, 2011 – the NBA will explode in a Triple Threat Match.

“MVP” Michael Von Payton
Vs.
“Ronin” Josh Alexander
Vs.
“Prince of Persia” Rahim Ali

Last June, C*4 Tag Team Champions,“Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Steen and “Speedball” Mike Bailey defended the C*4 Tag Team Championships against their toughest possible challenge in a match against The American Wolves, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards.

C*4 management was contacted by Steen and told that he regrettably could not appear on Nov. 19th or 26th, 2011. In a conversation with C*4, Steen stated that he was unsure of when his next appearance would be in a C*4 ring – and if need be for the tag team championships to be stripped from him and Bailey. In response, C*4 has told Steen and Bailey that for the time being they will continue to be recognized as the C*4 Tag Team Champions. More will be announced as the situation develops.

In the meanwhile, Mike Bailey, still carrying the pressure of his tag team partner Steen, will be looking for a “challenge” on Saturday November 19th.

As he continues to prove himself and to his partner, Bailey has signed on for a huge match at [R]Evolution 613… The “Speedball” will collide with the “Big Rig”….

Special Challenge
“Speedball” Mike Bailey
Vs.
“Big Rig” Brodie Lee

In spite of the Tag Team Championships not being defended on Nov. 19th – we promise to still provide Championship quality match-up’s and tag teams action.

We are excited to announce a first time ever tag team showdown between two tandems looking to make a name for themselves in C*4.

First, making their first appearance as a tag team in C*4, Lionel Knight and Christopher Bishop – collectively known as Checkmate.

Having made a name for themselves across Ontario and Quebec, the team looks to climb to the top in C*4. Knight and Bishop are known for their versatility and resiliency, and we are very pleased to welcome them into C*4.

Taking on Checkmate will be a duo making their Canadian debut… Two young men who’s unique and highflying offence have helped them make a name for themselves in promotions such as Dragon Gate USA, Evolve, and Beyond Wrestling – the tandem of Louis Lyndon and Flip Kendrick – collectively known as Aeroform!

This first time ever encounter has the potential to steal the show. We are very excited to host this tag team showcase!

For those unfamiliar with Aeroform, here are a couple of looks for them:

A championship opportunity! Singles action!
First up, an open letter from Moonshine Branded Wrestling founder and promoter, Terry Mathis:

“It could not feel any better to be coming home.

November 19th, 2011 has me excited beyond anything imaginable. You see, I have this little thing going on down here in Southern Ontario called Moonshine Branded Wrestling (sound familiar). And as of late the Moonshine Branded Wrestling Champion, “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea, has been defending his title throughout the Ontario Independent Wrestling scene. These defenses have been great and I would like to thank everyone for having us along the way. However, with all due respect to where we have been, it is where we are going November 19th that blows my mind. Of course, I must be referring to C*4 (R)Evolution 613.

It is an honour and a privilege to announce that Scotty O’Shea will be defending the Moonshine Branded Wrestling Championship on November 19th in Ottawa within the confines of C*4. It is the norm that a top Moonshine Branded contender follows Scotty wherever he goes and challenges for his title. However, in this instance, I have the utmost confidence to simply offer an open contract to anyone in C*4 Wrestling that chooses to challenge for the championship. How can I do such a thing?? Simple, it’s C*4, and I know that only the best compete in C*4 and I know that Scotty only wants the best competition. No matter who steps up and challenges, it will be a worthy challenge and I look forward to who will accept this opportunity.

By the way, if my wife happens to be in earshot at any point, my excitement for November 19th is purely due to our wedding anniversary. Appreciate it.

Peace…Terry Mathis”

Next up, a big first time singles encounter between two men who are looking to take steps to becoming major players in C*4 this season.

Following his win against three opponents at “Crossing the Line IV”, last June, Sebastian Suave has his sights set on singles dominance this season. Now accompanied by his valet, Seleziya Sparx, Suave seems focused and determined like never before.

Suave will have his hands full however on Nov. 19th.

At [R]Evolution 613, another young man looking to gain his footing in singles action in C*4 will be standing against Suave. That man is the charismatic and always popular, Cheech Hernandez!

Can Hernandez score a major singles victory and propel himself up the contenders’ ladder? Or will Suave capitalize on last seasons high note ending?

Next up, a sure to be entertaining contest between one of the top teams in C*4 and a win-less duo that just won’t stay down (possibly only still in existence out of one man’s vanity).

On one side of the ring, The Wolfmun – Twiggy and Beef Wellington - the team that along with El Generico, retired the NBA. While not the champions of the division, the duo is hopeful to climb the heap this season to claim the titles that eluded them this season.

Their opponents on Nov. 19th will be a tandem they have faced before – or it should be clarified, a duo that’s earlier incarnation they earlier faced and defeated… The Afterparty.

Cecil Nyx has promised an Afterparty which will find success this season. Who will his partner be? Find out on November 19th.

This Saturday night! Challenges Accepted! A challenge made!
With under a week to go before C*4 kicks off its huge Season 5 debut, we have two big announcements to make to round out the card for Nov. 19th.

Firstly as announced last week, “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea was placed in a 4-Corner Open Challenge set to defend his “Moonshine Branded Wrestling” Championship.

Quickly the spots were filled by some familiar C*4 faces looking to step up and capture gold.

The first challenger is a fan favourite looking to capture gold, and looking to step up his game in general – Jae Rukin. Rukin hasn’t had as much success as he had previously experienced, and certainly looking to recapture his seemingly lose momentum.

Next up, another man looking to climb the singles ranks in C*4, who made a pretty good impression in his first season of competition last year, Brent B. “The Allstarter” is certainly familiar with both O’Shea and Rukin – and is hoping to capture a major victory.

Lastly, a talent, looking to refocus his energy in singles competition, Lucky Sabiti. Lucky spent much of last season in tag team competition, along his mentor Max Boyer. However, due to Boyer’s retirement from the sport, Sabiti hopes to carry what he learned in singles action.

Who will walk out victorious of this Championship match-up? Find out this Saturday night!

Rounding out the card is an open-contract challenge – with one determined young man looking to continue making a name for himself.

Mathieu St. Jacques seemingly came out of nowhere last season, managing to capture the fans attention with his no-nonsense and smash mouth style.
St. Jacques had many exciting contests, including a memorable series with Scotty O’Shea and a major win over international star, Adam Cole.

St. Jacques has told C*4 management he wants to challenge any competitor who wants to face him. Furthermore, he has said he extends the challenge world wide, and to any talent who has never competed in C*4 before. St. Jacques has stated he has defeated high-flyers and technical opponents, and hopes he has the chance to face off somebody just as smash-mouth as him, somebody just as old-school and, of the same dying breed.

Who will step up?

All this and much more on Saturday night, as C*4 kicks off Season 5 of Ottawa’s very best in professional wrestling!
