All they're saying at the moment is that it was a lung issue but not covid related.

What a loss to the wrestling world. I heard Danny Hodge dies today too, and all it got from me was a "aw, that's too bad" simply because he lived a long life, but Huber is my age. Crazy. I didn't even know anything was wrong with him.

This is a huge shock, I knew he was off AEW TV and I suspected it was either health related or he was in some sort of contractual dispute with them as the circumstances of his disappearance all seemed very hush hush, but now I guess we know he was dealing with a very serious health problem. Its unclear what the issue was all thats being said is it was related to his lungs and wasn't Covid.

To me at least Brodie was only ever a mid level talent, a decent one but he wasn't main event but that's fine not everyone can belong at the top of the card, but reading through the comments from fellow wrestlers and people in the business it's very clear what he was known for the most was being a devoted husband and father and I now suspect the reason behind his switch to AEW was so he could spend more time with his family and good for him for making a move to benefit his family life rather than his pocket.

What a tragic loss. RIP Jon Huber.

It's a big enough deal that our major newspapers have told the story. It's such a sad story.

It's no age to die and as I said to Joe when he messaged me about it, I wouldn't like to think we only had a couple more years left.

I think when E can get back to a HOF with fans in attendance he will be put in.

Quote  Dave Meltzer shared some details on the death of Jon Huber (Brodie Lee) during Sunday’s Wrestling Observer Radio and what led to him being hospitalized.

Lee worked a dog collar match with Cody Rhodes on the October 7th Dynamite where he lost the TNT Title. AEW had planned for him to be off television for several weeks to sell the match.
