A non-covid related lung issue is all they've released at this point. This is a huge shock to me. Wow what a major loss.

So I watched the Brodie Lee tribute show via the pretty extensive highlights on YouTube, for me this was a good way to watch the show, as a fan I felt like I needed to see this episode which was a AEW celebration of Brodie's life but equally while I understood why they loaded the show up with tag matches featuring the favourite wrestlers of Brodie's son as well as the talent who had strong ties to Brodie like the Dark Order guys, there were no matches that I had a strong desire to see I just wanted to see the tributes really so watching the highlights was ideal as it showed the key moments of all the matches but most importantly all the tributes and talk segments were there pretty much in full.

This was a really well put together show, the little touches they did for Brodies family particularly his son - MJF took a kendo stick shot from him during a match and then of course Tony Khan presented him with the TNT title which is really nice as I think winning that belt will be remembered as the crowning moment of Brodie Lee's career. Brodie jnr then got to place his father's boots in the ring and Cody I think added Brodies bandana.

The video package they put together was great, it showed Brodie with his family, pics from his time on the indie scene, plenty of photos of him with WWE talent like Bray Wyatt and Becky Lynch for example, it was a really moving video montage and if you were to watch just one part of this episode I would recommend this.

Erik Rowan(or Erick Redbeard as he is now called) appeared during one match and help up a sign saying Goodbye Forever Brother which is apparently what Brodie would always say to him on the road.
