As I stated in another thread, it's 2015 all over again.

People get worked up over whether or not he's going to stay when anyone with a lick of business sense knows he's trying to leverage more money from the WWE. It's a no brainer that he'd rather get paid millions to show up a few days out of the year and work for about 5 minutes.

Personally, I hope he does leave. He was an attraction when he came back and held the title, making it a big deal. But over time, the attraction goes stale and it goes from making the title a big deal to just holding the title hostage for a year. I used to be excited for Lesnar appearances, but now I just don't give a damn.

And of course, he's going into WM as champ after decimating the rest of Raw's roster, kicking out of finisher and after finisher just to be taking down by one spear from Roman.

I don’t think Lesnar has any real interest in being UFC champion, I think he just wants to be an attraction and sign on for a couple of major fights at big events for a massive pay day, Dana White I’m sure would be up for that as it would do big business at the box office.

Lesnar I think is a competitive athlete and would probably rather be a top UFC fighter than a WWE wrestler but he’s also a smart businessman and signed with WWE in the past because it’s easy money, he works maybe a dozen matches a year that he won’t have to train hard for because he can phone in his performance half the time in a short match, and he gets paid more for it than most of the full time roster.

Maybe now he’s banked enough money from WWE he’s considering going back to a sport he’s more passionate about where he can still earn top dollar for minimal work, although he would have to train a lot harder.

You should want to be the best in your industry though and that's where he's make the most money.

Can see why the live crowd were pissed off, when his house show match lasts two minutes.

Announcing that he was competing would have sold more tickets to the show to help slow sales, and the fans were quite right to be pissed off.

I’m actually wondering if this whole UFC thing is part of a angle to get Lesnar a strong heel reaction and in effect get them cheering Roman Reigns.

It’s smart, book Brock as the self centred money grabber who doesn’t care about wrestling or its fans and then Roman is the heroic company man who loves the fans and the business. This formula could work.

If Brock does want to fight in UFC again I don’t see why they can’t work out a deal where he can continue to work for WWE while being granted enough time off to fight for UFC as well. It’s really a win win as it can result in plenty of cross-promotion and extra publicity for both companies.

.

I had thought about that too but im just not so sure they would approach it that way - although it is a different approach i think Brocks links to the UFC are too deep for it to be used as a way to put Roman over with the crowd.

I personally think he has a couple UFC fights in him and plenty of people have called him out over the years so he is still a big attraction without actually being in the UFC

Quote Despite WWE's efforts to turn Brock Lesnar heel by virtue of having him "miss" the last couple of Raw shows and portrarying him as someone who doesn't care about the business, he was in fact, loudly cheered at the Madison Square Garden house show this weekend.

-- WWE usually the MSG crowd as "ahead of the curve" so the belief is that if MSG fans are cheering Lesnar, that is likely going to happen at WrestleMania 34 as well.

Looking forward to the big Brock pop at Wrestlemania. It will be a shame we don't have a camera on Vince in Gorila blowing a gasket.

Two good reasons to cheer for the part timer in my opinion are......

1) Out of respect. Who wouldn't want more money for less work. We should like what a savvy businessman he is.

2) Why should E expect us to boo him for being part time, but like us cheering when guys like The Rock or Undertaker turn up even less of the time. Hypocritical.

This is the thing, are we really supposed to be hurt and upset that Brock doesn’t want to be on the road or travelling to Raw for live tv every week? Lesnar is only doing what any one of us would do if we could, he’s demanding top dollar for minimal work, he’s in a position to do that so fair play to him, he’s not passionate about wrestling or the fans - really??!! Cry me a river Roman, I’m sure being able to count his money from the comfort of his sofa helps Brock deal with his lack of passion.

Having Brock despatch opponents in quick matches is only going to make him appear more dominant as well, really Lesnar needs to grab the mic and actually tell the fans he doesn’t care about them, he’s all about the money and say if WWE doesn’t like that then screw you all I’ll go back to the UFC.

However this plays out Im enjoying the storyline and Roman is cutting some of the best promos of his career. Rumour has it this week Brock will only appear via satellite as a attempt to further antagonise the fans.

He's always going to get cheers because WWE fails to acknowledge is that at all of the live event s and PPV's you get smarky crowds.

Theres nothing those crowds love more (with exception of japs and vanilla midgets) than people who go against "The Authority" and by having Brock do what he wants - he has that attitude that all of the fans like and want to see, where i believe WWE thought it would have the opposite effect.

The only time Brock will remotely get booed are in the TV shows where there are a high proportion of children and casual wrestling fans in the audience.

Quote According to a report at prowrestlingsheet.com, Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar got into a verbal altercation after the conclusion of the main event at WrestleMania. While full details are unknown, the report says that Lesnar was "livid" after returning backstage, which did not sit well with McMahon. They further state that Lesnar proceeded to then throw his WWE Universal title belt either at McMahon directly or at a wall before walking away.

-- The @WrestleVotes Twitter account relays a related story, saying that Brock had words with people backstage after the match but it did not get physical as others stepped in to ensure that the situation did not escalate. This report does not specifically name McMahon.

-- If the above is true, it is unclear what exactly would have caused the issues but there are rumors that perhaps Lesnar went off script towards the end of the match against Roman Reigns or it's also possible that WWE officials were not happy at his stiff elbow that caught Reigns and lead to a ton of blood spilling out.

Not sure what he's got to be pissed about when he got to retain in the main event.

If he showed that much disrespect for his title, then I would have him on Raw tonight losing it.

But lets be right he probably won't be seen again now for a while.

He's defending the title at the greatest royal rumble event so there you go he might lose it there and fuck off.
