Well storyline-wise, it would make sense as Heyman has already called Roman Reigns "The next big thing" of this next generation, just this last week on Raw. Why WOULDN'T Heyman want to get in on that?

If WWE are going to be consistent then by rights Lesnar should win this - he has been brutal in his last few matches and reigns hasn't been in the ring one on one with anyone like that

Cena is battle tested (as are the likes of Sheamus/Orton etc) sort of speak so him beating Lesnar would make sense - it would make literally no sense for Reigns to beat Lesnar so I'm not sure how they will do it if they are dead set on reigns winning the belt

Heyman helping Reigns is the only way I can see this making any sense and turning Reigns heel (I'd assume given the reaction and leanars recent actions on raw etc that he is face) would be better for his character because he does not suit the baby face roll when he is trying to deliver over the top cheesy scripted promos

If they did go with a Reigns/Heyman alliance I would prefer they do it without splitting Lesnar from Heyman. Fact is Brock will be gone 75% of the year anyway so why can't Heyman have another big name client?
I still think they will be better served playing off the whole Reigns is the chosen one angle and have him align with the Authority.

Because he's got a legit badass champion on a part time contract, so it would be silly to give it up for someone hand picked who'd he'd have to be around to manage all the time.

I like that contact was teased but didn't actually happen and they had a proper chat.

Brock has stopped being advertised for Smackdown but even if he did still turn up i'd hope they continued to keep them from physicality.

Whatever, Heyman's a greedy character that wants the power, and if he thinks Reigns is the next big thing, then it's better to drop the old broken down horse that's about to lose the last of it's worth before it drops dead, for the winning side.
That's a Heyman thing to do character wise. Totally makes sense in the context of the story. I'm sure I could get Kondor to agree with me on this point. He's all about the story and kayfabing it up. IRL is a totally different story, but within the context of the story on TV, Heyman jumping ship makes all the sense in the world.

It might have more chance of working if Brock was booked as a broken down old horse and not the baddest man in the company.

If Brock is allowed to German Suplex Reigns as badly as he was Cena and he wins the title would fans not mind him so much then?

If management decide to keep them in their current heel and face rolls then Brock could be in yet another Mania match that tanks.

So much fantasy booking involves Authors Of Pain right now. So much.

I don't see Heyman siding with Roman. At Wrestlemania 31 everyone was on that rumour too. I just don't see it. People want Roman to win now. He's changing minds more and more every week.

Yeah at this point I don't think there's much of a point to turning Roman heel. Back then, in 2015, when he was flailing and everyone and I mean everyone was down on him because he hadn't learned to not only cut a promo, but sell as well it was a different story. I still think they should have turned him heel back then, but now? Different story. He is more or less as complete a wrestler as you can get in Vince's storylines.

Love him or hate him Roman is over and has a big star aura about him now. Every match he’s in is a big deal and he’s evolved into almost a complete perfomer, he has the look, can cut a promo and in the ring his matches are nearly always exciting to watch, he’s come a long way, it can’t be argued how hard he’s worked.

Also largely due to the reunion of The Shield he’s currently getting his best reactions. I wouldn’t turn him heel. If anything I think it will be Ambrose and Rollins who switch to heel eventually.

Quote They then welcome Roman Reigns to the show. Reigns, who looks pretty good for having just been beat up by Braun Strowman. Reigns says that mentally he is excited but physically he's hurting.

- He talks about Strowman laying him out after the match and implies that he might be going into WrestleMania not completely 100%.

- Reigns says that going into WrestleMania, he has experience now having main evented that PPV for three years in a row now and having also faced Brock Lesnar before. They talk about how it's going to be a one-on-one match three years in the making. Reigns then says he's ready to take on Lesnar tonight on Raw.

- Renee asks Reigns if he's worried about Paul Heyman and what he might have up his sleeve, but Roman dismisses that.

- Before leaving, Reigns says that he's going to WrestleMania, he's facing Brock Lesnar, he's taking the Universal title and he's going to defend it all over the world. And that isn't a prediction, it's a spoiler.

This something like the 4th year running Roman has been in a main event at Wrestlemania. Yet management are still baffled by the fans reaction to him.

The kick off show for Elimination Chamber mentioned Paul Heyman in the building and why would he be there. So then after over three hours we don't see him. Why mention that he's there if we aren't to see him? Pointless.

Creative have a massive job on their hands to try and stop Brock getting a super over face reaction.
